Arrival Story:
Ever since I had to put Holly down, many yrs ago, I always wanted another kitten, just like her. Orange with with white paws and white chest, and the kitten had to be "special", just like her. I got
Holly when I lived in Houston TX. My landlady said if you don't take her, I am going to throw her out. She was only 8 weeks old. She was very timid. One night, she jumped in bed with me, and woke me up. There was a huge roar, like a train. It was a hurricane. I was scared to death! But
somehow, her huddling with me, it seemed not as bad. We both survived. Came home one day,
and found her wandering down the sidewalk, I didn't let her outside. I scooped her up, and opened the door, I had been robbed, and they took everything! I lost everything, but I still had Holly, very
thankfull, they didn't take her, or do something to her. Together, we survived, again. Holly lived to be around 15, she had fluid on her heart and lungs, and had gone blind. They said there is nothing more they can do for her. I didn't stay with her, and I always regretted it, she did so much for me,
and I left her to die alone. I wrapped her in a Dallas Cowboys towel, so Dallas could protect her, until we meet again, at the Rainbow Bridge, and buried her at the barn. I had been searching these many years, for a kitten like her, not just the color, but that very special personality. Bumpurr has that personality, and asked his breeder, when she gets an orange kitten with white paws and white chest, and white tummy, to call me. She called me one day, and said, I have one, and he is the only one with white, in the litter. I knew, someday I would find her, I did with Cowboy. It was meant to be.
