Arrival Story:
Willow was the runt of her litter, born to a young mom. Her kicked her out of the basket many times and finally ended up suffocating the rest of the litter. By luck she survived. A co-worker brought her to work the to bottle feed her every few hours. She came home with me that day.

Bio:
When Willow was about 9 months old she started having seizures. I took her to the vet and he gave her some meds to try. It started out badly. We tried pills but she spit them out. She had many seizures every day. Her nails would get stuck in the carpet and rip out. They were always bleeding and sore. The vet and I decided to have her declawed on ALL 4 paws so she didnt suffer all the time. When we found a med that worked we were so happy. She continued spit the pills out so I hid them in her wet food and treats. Finally the vet reccomended we try liquid Phenobarbital. She hates is and sometimes gags it up, but it controlls her seizures. She doesnt take it any more and only on a very rare occasion does she have seizures.
