We recently bought our own home and after being without an animal for about 3 years, we decided it'd be good to get a kitten. After a few months of plannign and finishing up on the house, we started calling around to shelters. After going to one shelter, we ended up at an animal clinic and she was the only kitten there, in the cage alone with a room full of dogs. It was love at first sight.
