Let's All Go Sit in the BathroomOctober 23rd 2010 1:11 pm[ View A Comments (8) ] I had been having a pretty nice day - sleeping on the ottoman, meowing for food, being the Queen of All I See, you know the usual. The only not perfect thing had been that Finley the dog kept hopping up on the ottoman to get the humans to throw toys for her. I am not sure why she kept doing that, it makes no sense since she just kept bringing them back to her. But I don't expect her to make sense, she is a dog after all. Then these loud sirens started going off and everyone had to go get in the bathroom. We've had to do this before, something happens when those sirens go off that makes all the humans grab up us animals and sit in the bathroom or a closet. There was also this sound that sounded like a big train. I really didn't understand any of this sitting in the bathroom silliness, I wanted out, but I got told "you're not wasting one of you lives on a tornado, you are 17 and a half and you probably don't have that many to waste." So I guess this thing was a tornado, I don't know what that is. Probably some kind of human code for "let's go sit in the bathroom and not let Jezebel out to get more Fancy Feast." Anyways, in case you were wondering, the sirens stopped and everything ended up fine, so I have no idea what all that was about! Humans!!! Who can understand them???

Its a god thing you went in the bathroom! Ya don't want to get sucked away in one of those scary vortexes...tiome enough for scary stuff on Oct 31! Purrs! You can have your Fancy Feast after the storm has gone! Jez, I think you should stockpile some Fancy Feast IN the bathroom just in case the humans keep you in there again. You need to be prepared! We're very glad you're all okay! Ooh, Jezzie, that doesn't sound like much fun. Glad you're all okay. Headbonks... Whew! I'm glad you and your furmily were all okay! We've had those "let's all go sit in the bathroom" times too, but our usually come in the Spring. Mommy kinda wishes someone could have taken a picture of the last one, a couple years ago, there we were, me, my sisfur Emily Felicity, daddy and mommy, all in the little half bathroom and daddy had a sofa cushion on his head and mommy had a CAT BED on hers! I'd have been MOL'ing if I weren't so peeved about having to sit in the bathroom. I am glad every one is okay! That sounded very scary!!! Hugz and purrs, Sassy |
