There's only circumstantial evidence that I was the one who left claw snags on the top of the back of the chair. Just because I am the only one who is able to hop up there and you've seen me up there ALL the time doesn't mean I was the one who left those snags.

Seriously!

Ok, maybe I did. But I like hopping up on the chairs and up high gives me the best vantage points to watch those goofy dogs. I think I am going to have to be relegated to just sitting on the ottoman. But that's ok I guess, I do like the ottoman. At least there's no real permanent damage to the chairs!

You not only want to watch the dogs from there, that's a good place to be when they are in skirmish mode! Out of their way!
Maybe someone kind and thoughtfur to your cause could put a thick blankie there, to protect it...

Mommy was cleaning the leather chairs in the room other day and found two with a few little nail marks. Act innocent!!! mommy just looked at me and shook her head. Tilly xx
