Oh, I love my Valentine's Day gifts, and I am so, so happy to be in my friend's thoughts! And they are in my heart, too

Mom feels bad that we can't keep up with our thanks as much as we want to - because her monitor died, and she's using an old laptop that's show and cranky.

Once our computer situation is back to normal, we will be writing more and smiling even more.

Daisy had 9 wonderful years, and we had 9 wonderful years- with Daisy

Though Daisy's vets and family tried so hard to help her with her illness, she stopped eating, and before all happiness had left her, she left us on November 16, 2008.

Though she was just a teeny bit of fluff, she was still beautiful, with her big eyes and heart, to the end. Daisy had a wonderful life and a wonderful sister and family who love and miss her. - big sister Minnie, Mom, and Papa Les

Why I was losing weight and hiding under the bed so much...

I have just come home from being at the vet for over a week. I was down from my high of 7 pounds to a low of under 5 pounds, and it turns out I have lymphoma.

Grandpa, Minnie, and Mom really missed me when I was away, though Mom visited me a lot. Now we're all hoping I will be able to get back into my routine, as we take it a day at a time.

My big sister, Minnie, I and Mom are all so excited that I will be in the paper. (Well, I would be excited if I could read!)

I'm CAT OF THE DAY! November 5, 2007 - PURRFECTLY EXCITING!

When Mom checked her email this morning she was very surprised to get a new kind of email from Catster!

It wasn't a wonderful message that some cute kitty wanted to be my friend, or that a kind kitty had sent me a rosette or star, but the news was just as good...

I'M CATSTER CAT OF THE DAY!

I sooooooooooo excited, and, if I knew what humble meant, I'm sure I'd be humble, too.

Mom, I, and my sister Minnie, too, are very happy that Catster sent Mom the message, so we didn't accidentally miss this exciting event.

WE VISIT OUR FRIENDS ON CATSTER ALL THE TIME, but, sometimes Mom is so busy cleaning the cat litter, giving us food, unpacking boxes (we just moved) or helping grampa, that she doesn't get a chance to have fun on Catster.

MY SEVEN FACTS:

1. I love to sit at the window and watch people and cars go by! Birds are a special treat (to watch)!
2. Though my sister Minnie is older and "the boss," I get my food first.
3. I like to talk to the cute cat I see in the bathroom mirror each day. Otherwise, I'm very quiet.
4. I weigh about 6 pounds, and have longer fur than my half-sister, Minnie.
5. I love to chew on yarn - unfortunately, it's yarn that's already been knitted into something.
6. I like to snuggle with my sister for naps now and then, and visit Mom when she's on the computer, but otherwise I'm pretty independent.
7. I like batting off the decorations from the tree next to the piano. Once, the whole tree fell over. Ooops!
