Marzipan, Marzipan!

Getting closer

Just 4 more weeks and Marzipan will be moving in with me and Pebbles! I am so excited about this little one joining our family!
I am currently searching for a friend for her (one around her age) and I contacted the local SPCA about a cute little black kitten I saw on Petfinder. Now Pebbles and I are waiting for their response. I do hope we are able to find just the right kitten as a friend for Marzipan!
I am still looking for a job (the work site visit went well, but I don't think I can physically do what the job requires), but DARS is helping me.
I have been approved for housing through the local Housing Authority --they even approved to have a fence built in the backyard behind the duplex so Pebbles has a safe place to play! It should be ready around May 5 and we'll start moving in around that time.
So many exciting things are happening! God is so good!

Just real quick --I have to go eat lunch before class

Things have been super crazy around here, but good. I am still sending out job applications --no interviews/call backs yet, but I'm going to keep trying. I have two aps for TDCJ to send out this week (both clerical positions) and will keep searching the internet for more openings.

I graduate in 40 days! And then Marzi will be joining our family! :D

Lots going on!

I am sooo excited for this kitty to become part of my life. It has been years since I have had a cat --they are my favorite animal (don't tell Pebbles...mol).

She will be joining Pebbles and I after graduation in May. So, in between now and then, I need to do well in all my classes (though I have senioritis like CRAZY and just want to be done!), fill out job applications (sent my first one on Tuesday! :D), do interviews (hopefully!), do graduation invitations, cap and gown (I even have one for Pebs to wear! :D), graduation photos (will be done on Monday!), and finally, find a job and an apartment (I am hoping, HOPING for a duplex, town home, SOMETHING with a backyard for Pebbles to play in!).

So please keep Pebbles and I in your thoughts and prayers! It's going to be a CRAZY few months! But I'm SO excited!
