I had so many friends stop by to pay comments, rosies and gifts, that I felt warm-heartd and loved. I sure got a lot of cake. AND I LOVE CAKE! And there were a few other kitties celebrating their birthday on my day and they invited me to their parties!!!! Thank you to Presley, Paris, and Blade for that. I think this was my favorite birthday thus far!
Oh, I forgot to mention! You know how my brofur Napoleon likes to be the Center of Attention--well he just had to have a DDP on my birthday!!! MOL

I just found out myself at the Vet's today! The day started off well with mummy giving me some unexpected cat nip. It went downhill after that. An hour later she brought up my carrier which I glanced at in trepidaton while Dad was holding me. Then he placed me in it upside down! Excuse me!
Once I was at the vet things started looking up. The VA said,"Aren't you a handsome cat!" Mum beamed and I faned my tail out a bit. Then she took a little history. I vomit probably too often. She takes my weight 12.5 lbs. Later on the Vet said the weight was good, but would like to see one more lb, though. Then the Vet looked at the computer file. "You're almost 14!" Then she looks at my teeth."Beautiful! Well I have to say this is one heck of a cat. I have never seen such nice teeth on a cat this age." Mum pointed out to her that another vet (she knew her) said a year ago that he would have to have dental surgey. She looked again and said, "These teeth are perfect and very white!"
Whew! Mum was afraid to have the surgey done 'cause of Napoleon not fairing so well with the anaesthetic a year ago. Mum is happy now she took the advice the other vet gave her a year ago about changing my dry diet. I was on Orijen and I changed to Hills Prescription Diet T/D a year ago. The yellow around the gums is now gone! Maybe I really did need a deep gum cleaning a year ago. But not now! Mum is so relieved now.
After all these compliments the Vet says she has to do blood tests on me since they haven't been done for quite some time.
So me and mum waited in the waiting room for almost a half-hour for the results. When the vet appeared, she held up the papers very excitedly and said, "This is the perfect cat! I can't believe the results. Every test showed better than average results." She didn't even say 'for a cat his age' this time.

I know what you're wondering! You see my name written on my page as
COLORA-
DO
and you wonder, "What's this? A typo?" Actually mum always, always calls me that, Colora-DO as in doe, so I told her, Why don't you write my name like you say it?"
She said, "'cause everyone would think I can't spell or can't type!"
I reminded her that 'everyone' already knew that but I wanted my name written down the way I hear it. So that's why my name is written COLORA-
DO.
Now I'm wondering how your pawrents say your name!

I am so blessed to have so many friends who visit with heartfelt rosies, special gifts, rosettes or comments, that I am pleased as punch, I mean cat nip. I wrote many of my friends and visitors persnally but fear that I may have forgotten someone(s). If I missed you, please know that I very much appreciate your stopping by and your friendship.
Of course, there was my birthday yesterday and I received so many more card pics and cakes and greetings--all right, I'm spoiled and I'll even admit I like it that way.
There is always sorrow and worry in life and even on Catser. Presently I am thinking of my friend, Lemon Drop's disappearance, but we must try to think positively as well because positive energy brings forth positive results.

My mom called my name a couple of times. Of course I ignored her. What does she want this time? After a bit I thought I'd humor her and I sauntered up the stairs. She practically shoved this soft thing into my paw. Oh, I thought. This is red--I love red, and its black, too. Mum called it a lady bug! I batted it around; it's soft, too. Then all of a sudden my brofur starts chasing me. I glare at him--it's mine! Mum called out his name sharply, "Napoleon!" so I knew I was right and he was wrong. He chasd me down the stairs and guess who landed up with the lady bug?
Mum starts playing with a toy that jingles. Napoleon darts toward it. I look up to see this cute little blue and white bunny in her hand. Where did that come from, I'm thinking, and when? And why didn't anyone tell me???
Mum told me Pigeon sent both toys. I is so excited. Thank you Pigeon.I'm going to play with that bunny, yet! I hope you had a Happy Easter.

My good buddy, Pigeon, held in good stead, saw me fit enough to tell you the stuff that bugs me about my pawrents:
1) That they can even think about leaving me with a cat sitter!
2) They think nothing of putting eye drops in me daily! How insulting!
3) They think my brofur is the only cat around here that likes food!
4) They actully comb me every day, as if my coat isn't beautiful enough!
5) They dance me around the place as if I'm silly enough to enjoy the same things as they do!
I actually really love my humans. That's why I sleep with them every night!

Yikes this following message was to be published Oct. 29, 2010. Better late than never, I hope!
Yikes! Mum didn't even notice right away. When she checked her e-mail, she knew something was up!. Mum hasn't quite dealt with yesterday's e-mail and there's many additional ones today., so she wants to say Thank you to all of you for calling attention to this honor.
I'm happy; I'm full of smiles to hear from so many of my friends. There's many rosettes, comments and speciial gifts--all of which please me so.

Dear friends,
My brofur Napoleon and I have been much friendlier since he's changed his ways so we have lots of 'together' pictures. I want to enter one of these photos under FRIENDS in the contest. I have 6 photos showing at the bottom of page 2 in my Catster Plus photos but the contest rules stipulate you can only enter one photo per category. I can't decide which one to choose!
