I can't believe I'm 7 years old. Mom says it seems like just yesterday I was that tiny, long legged kitten running around like a foal trying out his legs!

It's party time!

Hi everyfur!

I wanted to invite you all to a birthday party.

Toulouse is throwing a big bash for our favorite boa-rockin Meezer, Frankie Sinatracat!

It will be in the Party Time & Virtual Play Date forum tomorrow afternoon.

You know this has to be one of our favorite holidays, being that mom has a wee bit O'Irish in her.

Well first of all I'm sure you've all met my bratty new brofur by now.

His name is Calvin and he was named after our wonderful friend Calvin.

The next thing going on is that my secretary is about to be fired! Do you know what she did?!

She let our Catster Plus expire! She swears she *forgot* it was due. So now we have to *wait* until next week sometime before she gets it back for us. *pout* We will be glad to see those ads gone again that's for sure!

Also please keep us in your purrs as most of us are sneezing & hacking. (Started before we brought the little orange brat home)

I turned 6 years old on the 13th! Mom says her baby boy is growing up. I told her she still has Rico (who's really the baby) but you know how moms are...We are ALL her babies. mol

Back from the v-e-t

Well I've been back for a while but mom forgot to update! **glares at mom**

Okay so the Vet said that it could have been that nasty spider that bit me but if it was it wasn't poisonous. He said the smaller spiders are the poisonous ones not generally the big ones.

Which made mom both happy & freaking out. Happy that it wouldn't have hurt me more but freaking out because our house has all manner of small spiders!!! **Eek!**

The Vet took my temp (how utterly embarrassing) and it was normal. Then he gave me a steroid shot to help with the swelling & pain, then put me on Clavamox antibiotic for a while.

It still swollen & looks like it's about to bleed but he said I should be fine, but that some of the skin might slough off as it heals. **yuck!**

So I'm resting & eating & chasing after our new fursib. MOL

Unexpected trip to the v-e-t

Well I am about to take an unexpected trip to the v-e-t.

Mom says it looks like something bit me. It made my upper "lip" swell really big & is almost blocking my nostrils & she's worried about me breathing if it swells much more.

It's very red & swollen & mom thinks she knows what might have bitten me... A big hairy nasty spider!

She's not sure but when she went in the kitchen a few minutes ago there was a huge (mom said baby tarantula mol) hairy blackish brown spider just sitting in the floor.

Well after mom got finished screaming she whacked it real good. Once she was sure it was dead she had Grandmom rake it into a baggie & seal it. She's taking it to the v-e-t with us in a few minutes so he can look & see if he thinks that might be what caused my lip to do that.

Mom hopes they can give me something for the swelling & hopes it wasn't a poisonous spider, if that is what bit me.

I will write when I know more.

I'm 5 years old today!

Yep mom said that means I'm ready for Kindergarten! mol

So far I have gotten lots of extra belly rubs & mom promises some soft food for dinner!

I can't believe I'm five! It just seems like yesterday I was the new kit on the block around here.

I wanted to thank my friends for helping to make today a special one for me!

I know I'm not as well known as some of my other sibs, but that just makes the rosies & gifts that I have gotten, that much more special!

I'm going to take a nice long cat nap now & dream of my beautiful angel Ginger. I know she is here celebrating with me.

The most beautiful angel at the Bridge

Yesterday a new angel crossed the Bridge.

My beautiful lady Ginger peacefully crossed the Bridge yesterday morning.

Her daddy held her & her mom was right there giving her lots of love as she made her journey.

I've been laying in front of the screen door in the evenings, searching the skies to find my Ginger's bright, twinkling star.

I know she is watching over me & I swear last night I felt the flutter of angel wings next to my head as I fell asleep. So I know my Ginger has already come to visit me.

Please continue to keep Ginger's family in your purrs & prayers. They are hurting so much, I know the purrs & prayers will help them & mean a lot to them.

Well it's time for me to go to bed...Maybe Ginger will visit me again & give me a kiss goodnight as I fall asleep!

My heart is breaking

I am very sad this evening.

My beautiful lady Ginger is very sick.

She has been diagnosed with inoperable, advanced, pancreatic cancer & has been given at most, 2 weeks to live.

She is such a wonderful girl & her family is just as wonderful. I know their hearts are breaking & they are in shock at how little time they have left with her.

I know she is getting tons of love & attention as they prepare to say goodbye. But we know that it is not goodbye forever as one day they will be reunited. Her brofur Bill & my brofur Shamus will be waiting for her at the Bridge. I know she will be in very capable paws & there are no other cats I would trust more to take care of her where I will not be able to.

I ask that you would all join us in purring for my special lady & her family so that the time they have left with each other is made all the more special, & that she would not be in pain.

Thank you friends for your love & support for my girl & her family, it means the world to me & mom.
