I love sleepin' in, especially on Mom's fuzzy blanket. Or any fuzzy blanket for that matter! I love them all. Even if I'm not tired, I will lay down anyway just because there is a fuzzy blanket. I love fuzzy blankets so much I wrote a poem:
Ode to a Fuzzy Blanket
by Kenny Kensington
Fuzzy blanket, fuzzy blanket, so soft and warm and cuddley,
Fuzzy blanket, fuzzy blanket, I 'm so glad you are my buddy.
I don't care what color you wear,
Or if you are worn or have a tear.
You will always be special to me,
I think you are so loverly!
Fuzzy blanket, fuzzy blanket, so soft and warm and cuddley,
Fuzzy blanket, fuzzy blanket, I 'm so glad you are my buddy.
Now, if I could just get one put by the window, I could lay on the fuzzy blanket in the sun! Ahhh, heaven!

My parents brought home this big fluffy bed the other day. They said it is for the dog, David, because he has pain and needs a softer place to sleep.Whatever! Mom even put it in front of the fireplace, my spot! Well, possession is 9/10 the law and as you can see by the pictures, I am definately in possession (unlike that puppy who is possessed). You can see that Oliver has made an attempt at reclaiming his bed. The parents had bought that for him LONG before that puppy came along. Then they let her sleep in it just because she likes it. So, Ollie and I are planning a BED coup. I am the Chief and mastermind and Ollie the muscle power (maybe muscle isn't the right word). If you check out David's page you can see who is the real owner of the bed-ME! Behind every great human there is an even greater CAT!

I am just getting around to writing in my journal--just a very busy cat! I have full days of eating, sleeping, drinking out the bathtub faucet, teasing the new puppy, playing with my catnip toys (I LOVE that little worm), jumping into the air catching flies (I am the head of the household fly and bug squad-no catch and release program here!) and laying in front of the fire. Speaking of that new puppy, Sadie, what is up with the parents? I keep hoping they will take her outside and come back without her. I don't understand why they let that hyperactive fuzz-ball stay here. She is just plain annoying-bouncing around the house, slobbering all over things. She had the audacity to take one of MY worms! The nerve! Now I have to spend a lot of my time policing her and keeping my toys safe. Time I could be spending doing things I actually like. Although I have to admit, sometimes it is fun to chase her and slap at her. Don't tell my Mom I said that. As for Mom, well, I got in trouble with her the other day. Apparently that plant she put on the kitchen table is not for me to chew on. I was so bummed. Now she has these noise makers there. Whenever I jump up to play with the kewl plant, they make loud, high pitched noises. Why did she do that? Well, I had better go check on my toys and that slobber-factory puppy.
