Arrival Story:
He was born in a litter of three kittens--two calico and himself. We took the kittens to the local petstore so they could try to sell them, but decided to keep the only black one because we thought people might overlook him. Also, black cats seem to be treated especially badly by non-cat lovers and jerks. But we love him!

Bio:
Blaxter definitely lives up to his name as "the lump" of the house. He is the couch potato and a bit of a loner. He loves to rub up against his owners, but hates to be held. His favorite thing to do is annoy Corey by jumping on him or rubbing up against him when he's trying to eat. If Blaxter is sleeping in a room, you can always tell because he snores so sound you would think a person was in there with you. He loves his new little sister, Scout, so much that he whines for her when she goes somewhere without him. He loves to lick her, cuddle with her, and romp around with her...it's the cutest thing. We're so happy that he found such a little friend.
