Arrival Story:
We picked Ripley and her "sister" our of a box of free kittens years ago. Ripley was always playing and doing funny things. She was beautiful and preferred my husband over me, which was ok since the other kitten seemed to like me best. Ripley lived a long, happy life until she died of Hyperthyroidism at the age of 16 and 1/2. We miss her and her "sister" too. They really loved each other when they were kittens. Ripley was a one person cat, and really didn't like other cats, but she was unique. The photo of Ripley is when she was very sick. I will try and post another one, where she is healthy. Ripley was really a pretty cat, with unusual markings. Like a Van Norman Turkish cat.

Bio:
Ripley loved the water! She would play in it and was an expert chipmunk chaser. She was fearless. Once she caught a fish in the lake and brought it up to us in her teethRipley resembles a Turkish Van Norman breed. There was nothing Ripley couldn't do. She enjoyed her life very much.
