WOW Again we are shocked that HQ picked me to be one of the DDP's today....but you know I am glad I am chosen you know why??????
Concats on DDP. You are so right. I never knew till I joined this site, just how many kitties are dying because of cancer. Its just hard to understand. I (Mama here) am always looking up all the info I can and keeping a close eye on my Sassy girl and regular vet trips too. She has a great vet, I can really talk to her and she always listens to me even though I get paranoid over the least little thing sometimes! Every day I feel all her over lumps, check her skin (she has a tendency to get a rash on her chin sometimes), I even count how many times she uses her litter box for both the pee and the other! Sassy thinks I am too careful sometimes probably, but thats my job, to be the best Mama I can be and make sure she is okay! Hugz and purrs, Mama and Sassy Hi Sassy and Mom, no you can never be too paranoid, it is good you are checking, you just never know if you will see something or feel a lump it could save her life....Mom checked but I don't always like to be picked up so Mom didn't check as much as she should have, now she does with Xena & Zeke....we didn't know either how many kitties were getting cancer...we are just floored at how many just here in catster.... So don't stop checking you are doing the right thing....ask your vet questions.....glad you are doing research too especially with the computer we can find out so much more.... FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT MISS QUEEN TALLULAH AND MANY KISSES AND CHEERS FOR FOR VIGILANCE IN THE FIGHT FOR A CURE FOR CANCER!!! LOVE MEW REEREE AND FAMILY Well, concats to you as I already said... Meowmy has not lost any of her pets to cancer, but she does know of some who have...but not breast cancer. Meowmy herself is a cancer survivor as of July, 2006. Ovarian, stage 3. Scary stuff. So she feels for any pet or person who has to deal with this, either as a patient or as family member. Some day, the end of theis illness - or rather - group of illnesses- will be defeated! Let us pray that it will be sooner than later! Keep fighting the good fight QT! Mom feels it is a privilege to walk for all who are on her Honor and Memorial walls. Mom can't believe how many people are amazed when she tells them that dogs and cats get breast cancer. You are doing a pawsome job as Team Mascot raising the awareness. Thank you all for all that you are saying about cancer and me....as kitties and Moms here on catster each and everyday we all read about a kitty that has cancer or is going or gone to the rainbow bridge.....Mom has decided to call the HQ and find out if there is anything they can do to raise money for research or to help parents facing this.....Mom has spent lots and lots of money on me it is very expensive....but what we need is for Vets to do more research on not only a cure but to find out way this is happening to us kitties....I know I may not make but if me being a mascot and a breast cancer survivor if I can help one kitty then I have done my job making humans aware of what is happening to kitties everywhere....this is happening way to often and everyday Mom and I cry because of our kitty friends being sick with cancer...we all have been touched by this one way or the other with humans and kitties...it is time for us kitties and Moms to take a stand and find out answers...... We pray every night, light a candle every night and we cry for all of our friends and their famiies......WE LOVE EACH OF YOU AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE, SUPPORT AND HAPPY TIMES!!!!!!! I COULDN'T DO THIS WITHOUT ALL OF YOU. QT Belated concatulations on being chosen a DDP! (We haven't been on Catster much lately.) You are a most awesome mascot and survivor.
