Not Happy with Mom

I must tell you all that I am not happy with Mom right now. You see she is opening up the door where the mean cat lives, lets see her name is Kandi. I am afraid of her and because Mom has been opening the door, putting a funny looking temporary screen at the door I can see and hear that cat. She is near the laundry room where we have our potty boxes...I hate to go down that hall and see her so I am staying in the dining room on a chair all day.

I am not sleeping during the day in my favorite bunk bed and I don't go in that part of the house. Mom finally realized it has to be because she is letting Kandi see us and keeping her from being in the stuffy room. Mom says poor Kandi, I say poor me.

I am not happy and now Mom has to figure out that she can't have that door open and have Kandi watching every move I make...I am a nice sweet kitty and I don't fight, never ever have been in a fight....but boy Kandi sure can, she has fought with Zeke once the fur was flying and I was hiding and she fights with our doggie Mia...they hate each other...and that is another story.

Today Mom tried to get me out there to get brushed I only stayed for a very short time and right back into the dining room. Mom let me outside this morning and again when she returned home hoping it would make me feel better. Then I hear the door bell ring and I am trying to find a place to hide outside by the door...didn't work. Once that person was gone Mom brought me in and I walked real slow checking the house out to make sure no one is there. MOL finally no one there and no open door to see Kandi.

Mom doesn't want me to be stressed she is always worried about me with my heart murmur and CRF...I need a quite stress free life...

Mom get a clue no Kandi keep tha door shut!!!!!!!from your oldest kitty to you....

sometimes moms are put into bad places. She's trying to help Kandi, and you, too! Relax...Kandi won't hurt you. She's just a cat. you're head cat, let her know it. But you might like her...I like the company of others, myself.

Hang in there, soon the weather will cool down and then things will go better, heat makes peeps and furs cranky, at least that is what meowmy says...

It took a while for me 'n Blossom to get used to each other. I am the queen kitty 'n Blossom just had to learn that. We had quite a few arguments before Blossie realized I am the number one here. It took time 'n persistence on my part, but now we are good furriends 'n like sisfurs.

Hi Orange Ruffy you are right about that...problem is I get stressed out and then I keep hiding with me having CRF and a heart murmur Mom is trying to keep the peace and not get me stressed....I am the alfa cat but she doesn't know that and I am not a mean kitty that will fight or let her know her place.

Pipo the weather is awful we hate the hot weather here, it makes us all so lazy and grumpy too. We are ready for the cooler weather here...been hot & muggy

Jezebel you are right on, I find a place away from her and not bother...she is better than she used to be but mom says she will never get along with us she is a kitty that needs to be the only cat and she is mean....my grandma did something to her to make her this way and we are not sure what. But she has a forever home with us even if is isn't out..

Ollie Kandi has been with us for 2 yrs now and she is better especially with, maybe when she becomes too old to do anything she will be nice...

Awwww poor Kandi and poor Xena too. I'm sorry that you have to live with a mean cat. Can one of your litter boxes be moved away so that you don't have to go near mean cat when you have to go? Maybe if your Mom opened that door one an hour or two and always at the same time, so you'd know when there is danger and when it's safe?

Well let's see if Mom moved out cat box it would have to be out in the frontroom with hardwood floors so she would have to think about that some...as for the door to Kandi's room she opens it and puts the screen up when she gets home in the afternoons...problem is Mom doesn't always get home at the same time...today she kept the door closed and I was so happy to spend the day in my bed and enjoying not having to worry...
