My life as Xena the Princess
Vet Visit & UpdateFebruary 3rd 2012 8:47 pm[ View A Comments (12) ]
I had to go to the Vet again today not by my choice I can tell you, I did protest I did, I meowed for a short time and then I stopped Mom put soothing music on and I settled down.
Don't you get hissing spitting mad when you're put in one of those portable prisons and carted off to the stinky place where they poke at and prod you? *shudders* So sorry you had to go through that ordeal today! However, I'm very happy that you're doing so well and no lumps were found! Hooray! I have a heart murmur too which developed after I got CRF. My vet took x-rays and did a blood pressure check and I had an echocardiogram. It didn't hurt! The cardiologist says I have something called mitral valve regurgitation (huh?!) but don't have HCM or need to take medication now but we need to keep watch -- it could develop. It's good to have those tests done so you know exactly what's going on and your mom will know what symptoms to look out for. Hope whatever's causing your murmur isn't anything serious! Love, Kaci Hope the murmur doesn't cause any problems for you. Oh my goodness glad that is over for you! Just because they are bigger than us, it seems they think they can just lock us up and haul us to the v-e-t as they see fit. grrrr What a terrible day you had. I'm glad you are okay and home safely. Get lots of rest and take care of yourself. Love Max I'm so glad you are home and eating Sweetie. And no lumps!! Wonderfur! we will keep you in our prayers that your heart will be just fine. vet bills? mom says that is why she works too, cat food, litter, bird food, catster and vet bills LOL. i wonder how many catster moms do the same. big hugs and lots of love Purring for you my sweet girl, I'm glad there were no new lumps. Take care of yourself and enjoy the weekend. Love you, Tully Glad to hear there are no lumps! Hooray fur that! We will be purring that the heart murmur stays stable and doesn't decide to roar or worse... Have a nice weekend! Purrs! Pipo & Minko Glad to hear you didn't have any lumps! Purring that your heart murmur doesn't get any worse. You are very brave. I really do not like the vet one bit. No Lumps is just wonderfur and even though the murmur is not great having a baseline xray for the future is a good thing. Purrs of support Timmy T and Da Boyz My sweet friends and my sweetheart Tully thank you so much for purring for me and stopping by...My Vet told me I am doing really good so that is great for me...and a sigh of relief for my Mom...she is always worrying about me.. yes Anna it does seam like a lot of Moms work for pay for our bills, food etc...but the good thing is we love them so much for all that they do for us... We will let you know after we hear from my Vet!!!! Xena, I'm glad there were no lumps and bumps! I also have a mild murmur and I had to see the vet cardiologist. I had an echocardiogram and it wasn't too bad (they didn't even shave me, yay). The cardiologist didn't find anything too significant other than my murmur. It was another expense, but Mom was glad I had the echo done. I am purring that your heart is healthy and the murmur doesn't get worse. Glad to hear you are doing well and there are no lumps! Pawsome! We'll keep purring all stays that way! Hope the heart murmur is nothing serious and stays put! Have a Happy Valentine's Day too! Hugs and purrs, Simon & Reuben(an angel) |
