My life as Xena the Princess
My Vet visitJune 23rd 2011 12:45 pm[ View A Comments (13) ]
Well my friends I finally got my stitches taken out on Tuesday. I am all healed now, but now I have peach fuzz on my belly...I just want to know when will my pretty long fur grow back in...
Xena; goodness, it could be the meds you were taking caused a skin reaction, purrhaps even the fashion senseless collar you were forced to wear could have caused a reaction...and being stressed, you may have over groomed your face, even a family member could have over groomer you face if you allow them to do so.....we hope you dont have to go back to the vet and are happy your prognosis was good !! hugs from dai$y and the boys ! Maybe it's just stress that is making yous hide. I's know when I's stressed I's hide & have lost some furrrs before. I's so glad yous doing well & your stitchies are out. It will take a few months for your tummy hair to fully grow back. We's will keep purrring & praying for yous & hopefully now that your stitchies are out maybe yous can relax a wittle & not stress as much. Luvs, Missy I'm voting on stress. I lose fuzz when I get stressed. I have this one spot on my back... mommy always knows when I'm stressed cause I start over licking it and the fur gets really thin. Stress is hard on a lady. Take a day or two off, lay in the sun, warm up the peach fuzz on your bell, and eat LOTS Of nom noms your mommy wouldn't normally let you have! That's my advice! Nom noms solve everything! Yes that is what Mom hopes is going on with me and that is what Dr. Kathy thinks too, but we have to keep watching me...Stress is a bad thing at times...so Mom is letting me be and hopes in a few days I will be out again and soon my fur will come back in...Oh I love to get extra can food, this morning I just kept eating and eating...num num....oh is was so good and I am the only one that got extra food...I sure hope num nums will solve what is going on with me Xena Hurray for a good visit. Boooo for stress! MOL Stress noos goods!!! Good vet visits, Dat makes everyfur happy!!! Hope that the cause of the trouble is simple like stress, and that now being all done with vet visits, you should hopefurly get improvements. Purrs! Hugs to your Mom...she is under all this stress, too. Come on out from under the hutch, Xena, and let your mom know you're okay - and that you don't need to go back to the vet place. The hair over my eyes (usually it's just one eye) gets very thin - almost bald - after I've been stressed. It happened after our move to our new home last year and has happened once or twice since then. It always grows back pretty quickly. I hope yours does, too, Xena. I will keep you in my purrs..Stress is a funny thing..each of us have different reactions..I chew my claws.. You take care of yourself and your sweet Mama! Love Chef It's probably stress. I hope you get back to your old self soon. Love Max Dearest Xena we're glad your surgery was successful. Now we'll purr & purr & purr & purr that you get back to your old loving self very soon! Look at all your lovely gifties & you & Mom will have good thoughts to stay pawsitive! Love, Fluffy & Alex. We so glad you got a clean bill of health. We agree that it could be the stress making you feel hidey. Well if'n it is stress, u not need's any part of dat!! I hope ur venturin' out more now. So happy ur on da road to recovery. Let ur mom take care of u 'n it's a real good thing to know u haz a wonnerfur Doc too!! We love's u bunches too Xena 'n mommy!!! Purrs 'n many purrayers too, MILO |
