Arrival Story:
Petra's original family lost their home and had to take Petra to the Sacramento SPCA. She was put up for adoption but was really scared and kept trying to run out of her cage and was hissing at everyone. They pulled her off the adoption floor and send an email to all the volunteers to see if anyone would adopt her otherwise they'd have to euthanise her. I went to see her and couldn't let her stay and be euthanised. I later realised that she'd never been with other cats, just dogs and people, since she was a small kitten and is scared of other cats. No wonder she was freaked out at the shelter surrounded by cats.

Bio:
Petra lives in my spare room as she still gets scared/aggressive around other cats but is happy in her own space. She loves sunbathing, watching squirrels from the cat hammock in the window and playing with toy mice. Petra is friendly with people and purrs and drools when you pet her. She likes everyone except at the vets where she transforms into a tasmanian devil and has a note on her chart to use a muzzle after manageing to bite a vet tech through their leather glove.
