Arrival Story: I lost my beloved Asti, a black poly, on Xmas eve 2003. Went online just looking at kitties, not thinking to get one yet, but on Valentines Day applied and was accepted to adopt a kitten (there was no picture) at the MPS Pet supply store via the Michigan Cat Rescue. Fell in love on sight and discovered he had 7 toes on the front and 5 on the back for a grand total of 24 toes! He was scheduled to be put down and the Michigan Cat Rescue scooped him up and saved him and I believe my Asti sent him to me because I missed Asti so very much. Even with two other kitties, there was such a large hole in my heart at the loss of my very first cat. Now the hole is not so big.

Bio: My name is a very long story, but mommy rescused me and then I had to get "fixed" and got my shots. Mommy thought I was a goner 'cause the operation and shots wiped me out and then I got lumps in my back leg from the injections. Mommy says she won't ever get those shots again (lucky me!). Mommy worried for four months until the lumps finally went away, she cried all the time. Now, nothing can stop me! I have two brothers. Claude Lemeiux Moceri, a Bengal, who is still not always sure he likes me. He's 7 years old. He has to "establish" his territory every once in awhile with me (I could care less). Yoko Gary Moceri is an Abby, age 16, who always wants loving and goes with the flow! He's cool, cause he lets me suckle on him (for a little bit), which makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Meow!!! I hate Furth of July! All the noise scares me and makes me hide under a rug or anything I can! My siblings laugh at me too! Meowmy tries to comfort me, but NOTHING will make me like Fruth of July...EVER!

Well, my house is back together after the remodel and I can see the bird's nest again out the front window. The "new" girl is OK. Just another mouth to feed if ya ask me! Hope she doesn''t trun into a Diva like Honeybunny. I liked things the way they were, though I still miss my bud, Yoko...

Mommy wished me a happy adoption day. I've been with my mommy for 3 years now on Valentine's Day. Mommy says I am so much like her soulmate Asti, who passed away on Xmas eve 3 years ago before I got here. She sez my paws are big and precious just like Asti's and that I'm a big guy and just sweet and easygoing, except I am a big scaredy cat. I guess Asti wasn't, but I can't help it! Mommy loves me anyway, even when I hide under pillows and rugs, she sez I am all the more precious! She hopes I don't have to go through another bout of crystals. I was blocked last summer and I got the crystals again in January. Mommy is trying a partial raw food diet for me with supplements which I actually like!I sure feel a lot better. I guess Asti (my predecessor) had a life-long battle with crystals and had several surgeries adn mommy sez she's a lot better educated on it now and tests my urine once a week to make sure I'm in balance. She feels bad she listened to the vets and kept feeding Asti dry food adn giving him drugs and surgery, when feeding him canned alone might have made a big difference and not made him suffer so much. At least I am the beneficiary of her quest for knowledge and persistence! She LOVES me! I think everyone else is jealous, except Twinks, he's my BUD.
