Arrival Story:
ButterBall came to me in a dream about a year ago. I knew I had to adopt a sphynx. I soon began a friendship from a wonderful lady in Ohio. She did not tell me at first she had kitties. I would watch her youtube videos and myspace page for pictures of her awesome sphynx's. She knew I was interested in adopting but I guess she wasn't comfortable sending one of her kitties to me. We didn't know each other except online. Anyway, we stayed in touch for about a year. I told one of our mutual friends I was interested in adopting a sphynx and had some funds available to do so. Lo and behold, she had one. A little boy and said he was mine for the asking. So, I asked. I waited for lil Ball to get a few months older so he could be independent of his momma and sent Continental Airlines to Ohio to pick up my buddy and bring him to me. They did and ButterBall arrived on 12/24/08. A Christmas gift to myself. I feel bad. I almost feel like I'm neglecting all those kitties you see up at PetSmart waiting to be adopted but I had my heart set on a sphynx. I promised to get ButterBall a sister or brother with hair in a year or two.

Bio:
I am a Martian cat. A freak of nature. A hairless wonder. I like to get into trouble. alot. I specifically like to walk on my owner's face while he sleeps. That is a hobby of mine that I absolutely love to do. I wait for him to fall asleep, and begin my march up and down his body. When I get to his head, I sometimes sit on it. My owner thinks thats gross so I do it anyway. If I don't sit on his head, I might meow. Sometimes I just stand on his head. I get diarrhea real easily so if you have any suggestions on how to curb that situation my owner would like to know. My owner thinks I will do better as I get older. I hope so, because I can stink it up with the best of them.

ButterBall has been doing great this past week. Even after I fed him soft food. I was starting to think the stomach issues are over. Then my niece and nephew came over and decided to play with little BoogerBum while I was at the hospital. I have no problem with that. They love the little guy. Anyway, I got home and greeted ButterBoog, my little buddy. He was giving me my usual head butts and perpetual motor letting me know I'm glad you're hear. He immediately tore off to the litter box where he left a nice soft watery mixture of feces and some other liquid that I won't speculate on. Well, this little turd stunk it up. I think my nephew gave him some milk or something. It's ok, he's getting better. I was all ready to give him a wet dinner until the runs got him first. Oh well, he should be good to go in a couple of days. Stay out the bad stuff Ball!
