Arrival Story: It was a dark, cool night and I was hiding underneath a car in a parking lot, when all of a sudden this kind lady saw me. She pulled me out from behind the tire and brought me into the restaurant. Only five minutes later the car drove away. This lady told me I would have been run over. Fortunately for me there happened to be a vet sitting at the bar of the restaurant that the lady brought me into. He took a quick look at me, told the lady that I was a girl, that I had no fleas, and that I needed to eat! She took me home and I stayed with her for 3 days. she kept me in her bathroom where I started to learn how to use a littler box. She also fed me lots of yummy food. In a couple days my new owners came to pick me up, since the lady wasn't able to keep me. My new owners picked me up and I cuddled me all the way home. I live with them now and I am a lot healthier and happier!
Bio: My mommy's into people psychology so she thinks I have behavioral issues. for one, I only purr for inanimate objects, like blankets and pillows, or food. If somebody starts petting me, especially mommy, I'll immediately stop purring and run away, unless it's daddy who's petting. I'll usually let him. Mommy tends to think that I'll warm up as I get older. Right now I am much more interested in playing and using hands as toys.
I would really like a talkative siamese brother or sister someday when my owners move out of this tiny apartment.
Today mommy and I were engaging in a nice game of bite the blankie, when she noticed a few blood spots on the soft white fabric. She was confused, and figured out that the blood was fresh from my mouth. She concluded that I was teething and lost a tooth. I could have told her that! Well she grabbed a hold of me and pulled up my lips until she pinpointed the bleeding. I was not too fond of this and I put up a bit of a fight. Anyway, she saw the gaps in my mouth and then did some research. Apparently I'm normal. She felt quite bad for the pain I'm experiencing, so she let me play with come catnip for a while. The pain in my mouth doesn't really bother me because I kept trying to eat the catnip flakes! They just taste so good and make me feel even better! This teething thing isn't all that bad I suppose. For example, I got to eat soft treats tonight for dinner. And mommy said I get to eat wet food for the next 2 days. Yay! I'm gonna try and milk this for all it's worth. ;)
