Arrival Story:
We rescued Sophie, or should I say, she rescued us after the loss of our beloved cat Sassy who I had for over half of my life. She was 19 when she passed and I was 36. Anyway, the house was so lonesome after her passing that we thought the pound cats may be a good choice for us. We couldn't imagine that we could love something so much after the heartache that we went through. Although Sassy and her memories are still with us so much so that we shed a tear or two now and then, Sophie has brought us joy again that we thought wasn't possible. So, in a sense, she rescued us!

Bio:
We know that Sophie was born April 10th, 2007, but not sure of her background other than the fact that her brother, who was also a pound kitten, passed away. Sophie herself had been in quarantine due to an upper respiratory infection . She had to be treated by our vet as well once we obtained her from the pound, but has grown into a beautiful, healthy creature.
