On Sunday I had my first birthday with my human family. I turned 2 years old, and I did not know what to expect. When I got up it seemed like a regular day however, things began to change. After the humans were up for awhile they gave me some presents. I got some balls, strings with a fish attached, and another string with lots of string attached to the main string. The last one is my favorite, and I can play with that string for hours, and even by myself. I loved all my gifts. I played all day and had fun.

My mom made me a cake that was an angle food. She dyed part of the cake blue. The blue was almost as pretty as my blue eyes. It was a really pretty cake. I got a small piece and it was very good. She did not frost it which was fine with me.

For dinner I had some human chicken. Because it was windy and cloudy with an occassional rain we were afraid that I could not get barbequed chicken. I was very worried. However, in the late afternoon It cleared up and I got my chicken barbequed. I got one piece of chicken. It was very good, and Abbey liked it too. She kept trying to steal my chicken. For dessert I had some strawberry juice, cake and a roasted marshmellow. It was all very good. I had a wonderful birthday.
