Arrival Story:
Whis-Purr's family went away on vacation, and she stayed at home. During the time they were away a cat-sitter came in, daily, and took care of her. After she left, one day, Whis-Purr got her leg caught in a chair, and was left dangling from the chair by her leg until she returned the next day. She took the cat, immediately to the vets office, where it was decided that the leg had to be amputated. The family decided that they didn`t want a 3-legged cat, so they told the vet to euthanize her. The vet refused, and had them sign the cat over to her. She had the operation on Dec. @@, 2008. Today is Jan. 14, and she is getting around and doing just great! We feel very fortunate to have her as a addition to our family.
