Arrival Story:
When my husband consented to getting a cat, he specified a cat with a quiet, calm disposition. I went to cat shows and studied breeds on the internet, and discovered the Chartreux. When I went on a hunt to discover a breeder, I learned that they are a fairly rare breed. I finally learned of a breeder who had a retired show cat that she was looking to sell; a three year old girl who couldn't get pregnant. Perfect! We drove for 8 hours round trip to adopt this little (then) beauty!

Damn Diet!!!


WHERE'S MY TREATS????

Mom and my Dear Doc has me on a diet. They don't understand that I am just a girl with "big fur"!! Anyway, I am now on a "Catkins" diet: low carb, low glycemic index, whatever that means. Doc says I am eating "mouse in a can" -- pure meat! Whatever......I like it, and I'm never hungry......and, mom is pretty happy that I am down to a svelte 13 pounds! The bummer is, that I don't get my crunchy treats. Well, some; I steal them from Izzy! My fur is shiny and I like to run around more. And...I can almost catch up with Izzy when she runs up and down the hall!! This is pretty good!
