She really likes the crunchy treats, she's VERY fond of "people food", too, especially salmon, chicken, and McDonald's french fries!

Arrival Story:
I got Sydney as a kitten from the Chocolado Siamese cattery in Chandler, AZ. She is a purebred, chocolate-point female Siamese of the modern (show-style) type. She has a very extreme wedgie look, more so than Reno (the bluepoint in the photo next to her). Sydney was born on 2/29/96 (a leap-year baby!) and is a very special kitty. She started her life in Phoenix, AZ but now lives in Colorado Springs, CO with her mommy and new daddy.

Sydney has a very sweet personality; she's especially loving around kids, the elderly, and people who are sad or not feeling well. She's a little shy around strangers, but once she warms up to you she's your friend for life. Sydney is a real princess and is always "proper" and well-behaved. Even though she's older now, she's still active and plays like a kitten; her favorite game is to play fetch with her mice toys. When she's not playing, she loves to take naps and can often be found on her mommy's lap or in the sunniest spot in the house. Sydney's only vice is that she is VERY finicky with cat food but REALLY loves people food, so much that she often begs at the dinner table when one of her favorite entrees (fish, chicken, ham, etc.) is being served. UPDATE: Two years after being diagnosed with Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Sydney finally succummed to the illness. She passed away quickly and peacefully at home on July 21, 2010. We all miss her greatly.
