Arrival Story: When my beloved Albert went to the Rainbow Bridge on May 2, 2002, I was devastated and lost. I burned a candle on his grave for 17 days - one day for each year of his life - and on the 17th day, my hubby came home from work at lunchtime with a tiny kitten which fit in the palm of his hand. This little kitten still had his baby blue eyes. He was so young, he shouldn't have been away from his mother, as he had not yet been weaned. We were going to Virginia and before we left, we had our housecall vet come and check him out. She said he was about 3 weeks old, give or take. We like to think he was exactly 17 days old and that he was the reincarnation of Albert - thus, his name, Albie. We had to hand feed him for the next week and it was so difficult to get food into him. Many times during our visit to Virginia, we thought we might lose him, and were on the phone long distance with the vet almost every day. We drove 60 miles one way to find cat milk and a nursing bottle and one day, he just turned around and started licking baby food from my finger. Since then, we haven't been able to get him to STOP eating. I carried him around in my blouse and at night he slept cuddled up on my neck, covered by my hair.
Bio: To this very day, Albie thinks I'm his real cat-mommy and he will suckle on my face. I don't have the heart to refuse him, even though he weighs a ton and I get teased mercilessly by my family for allowing such behavior.
On July 6, 2009, Mom checked her email as usual and noticed an email from Catster Headquarters saying that I'd been chosen Cat of the Day! I'd like to thank Catster for this very special honor. It's so nice when others recognize just how special I am!!! MOL

My beautiful fiance, Tessie, got hit with a were-cat virus during the full moon --- I'm a bit confoooooosed as to the details --- and she was turned into a PIG!! Her brofur, Tucker, was turned into a chicken! when she sneezed on him.
Despite my legendary prowess as Hairy Pawter (for Halloween), I was unable to help her. The good news is that she is back to normal and her gorgeous self again. Whew! what a relief!!
Today I sent my beautiful Tessie an engagement collar and asked her to be my fiance and she said YES. I'm the happiest cat in West Virginia --- maybe even the entire United States! --- today. Mom wishes she knew how to put the picture of the collar somewhere in my diary, but alas...she's not THAT computer savvy!
I read in Tessie's diary that she caught the flowers at TC and Cagney's wedding. We'll have to see if that comes true........ Of course, it will SOMEday! There's no other cat for me --- that's furrrrrrr sure.
