Life in the fast lane

It sure has been quite a while since I've hung out here. I have to say I have really missed it, and boy how my life has changed in those two years! Meowmy is getting married to a really great guy who I totally love. I hang around him as much as possible and attempt to eat his many plants. I don't think he likes that too much. He's always moving them and each time I hear Meowmy telling him he needs to put them someplace where I can't reach them. She says something about some plants not being good for me. I think this is my new dad's first cat. He's really the best though and so much fun to play with!

We live in this great new place now, the three of us. It has stairs and some wonderful views. I really couldn't ask for more. Well, except for them to get rid of the new guy dad's brought in. Right now I'm still trying to pretend he's not there most of the time. His name is Sammie and he's about 7 months old. I like to be left alone but meowmy and dad keep trying to introduce me to him. They want us to be friends but it's kind of tough when I'm adult and have very refined taste and he's a kitten who wants to tumble all over the place. They keep trying though! Seems like they're determined to make it work. I guess we'll see how that goes.

I'm so happy to be back though. :) I've missed all of my friends and I hope you all had a fantastic and Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Welcome to 2008 everyone!

Home free!!!!!

I wasn't too happy last week. Meowmy had brought me to her parent's house and then went away for what seemed like an eternity! I didn't know what in the heck was going on, so I let everyone in that house know that I wasn't happy and that I wanted my meowmy back! Thankfully she came back one evening (they keep telling me it was only 5 days later, I say more like months) with her boyfriend and I haven't been away from her side since! Things have been really great since meowmy came back. Soon after she came home to her parents, she and I packed up and I had to go in that stupid crate to head back to our place. You'll never BELIEVE the great news though! We get there, and there's NO COCO! Meowmy tells me he won't be back ALL SUMMER! She said that his meowmy was going on a few vacations and that Coco will be at his grandparents house all summer long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like dancing! This is the greatest news ever!!! Time without him is my FAVORITE time!!!!!! So things are REALLY good right now!!!

Who's my Valentine?

So a few days ago my mommy got some pictures of me dressed up in my Valentine's collar and sitting on the cushy heart shaped pillow. I think I looked VERY pretty, though I wasn't quite sure what was going on when she first started doing it. They turned out quite well though. I enjoy looking at the one she chose on the Valentine stroll here.

This will be my 3rd Valentine's Day though and I've never actually had a real Valentine! :( Sure, mommy has always said that she is my Valentine and her boyfriend always gives me some love on Valetnine's Day, but I want more than that. If I could I would make mommy's boyfriend my Valentine, but I know she wouldn't have that. It's just not fair. I'm a pretty girl, why don't I have a boyfriend? Won't anyone be my special Valentine? I really just want another kitty I can share the day with, but I don't know how to go about making that happen.

Maybe some handsome cat will see me on the stroll and send a message my way about being my special Valentine? A kitty can dream...
