Happy Mommy's Day

Hi Friends;
We would like to wish all the Mommy's everywhere a very Happy Mommy's Day, we had a great day with Mom, and I gave her lots of sandpaper kisses. Thanks to Catster and our pawsome Friends for the Mommy's Day gifties.

My Birthday/Gotcha Day & Thank You

Hi Friends;

I had a pawsome Birthday/Gotcha Day today. The rescuers gave me lots of lovies. I got my nails clipped too, but it wasn't all that bad because I usually get a little whippie cream afterwards. Mommy rescuer whipped up a yummy dinner and some fresh catnip which I never refuse and now I'm napping on the sofa with my best bud KiKi. He gave me kisses too. Now I'm all tucked in with my favorite pillow. Just four years ago I was in pretty bad shape, and now I'm being treated like a king, don't tell my Brother though, because he thinks he's the king around here. I want to thank my friends for the cool rosettes, special gifts, pawmails, and really cute memento Manytoes & Family made on my special day. My rescuers always thank me for finding the right house and taking me in, and I couldn't be happier.

Checking In & Raspberries!

Hi FurFriends..
I hope everyone is enjoying springtime.
Last week out of the blue I started coughing and coughing. Mommy rescuer thought I might be having an asthmatic attack, so she got the inhaler ready and gave me a puff. It helped for about two hours then started over again. She thought it was too soon to give me another puff so she called the Doc and they said to wait another hour or to just bring me in. Mom rescuer is always worried about my heart, so she rushed me in. They immediately put me in oxygen therapy, til I was stable. Needless to say, I had to spend the night, they did a chest X Ray and everything was normal. Mom got a call the next morning saying that I may have an upper respiratory infection again and that I was sort of snorting and making noises when breathing. The ER Doctor on call said I may have a polyp or something in my nose that got infected. It seems like every time I go to the Doc they find something wrong with me, as I have a lot of things wrong with me already. I've been taking a raspberry antibiotic liquid (doxycycline) for the past week and have a few more days to go. Raspberries! They recommend a scope of the upper airway to rule out polyps or some other abnormality. I'm hoping I don't have to have this done, but whatever it takes, Mom said she'll try to make me feel as better as I can. I seem to be normal and acting crazy. I do miss my Brother though, as I like to cuddle with him at night, anyway I have Mommy all to myself this week. Feel better Bro, Purrs!
