indoors Arrival Story: My husband and I rented a home in an area where there was a colony of feral cats. A year or so ago he started feeding the little white cat. About a month ago she showed up to eat and her front left leg looked like it was broken. We already have a full house of rescued cats but we knew it would be cruel for us to do nothing so he caught the cat and took her to the humane society thinking they opened at nine but in fact it was ten. We'd been told that since we'd been feeding her for thirty days she could be turned in as a owner relinquish. To make a long story short........he called me and said he felt bad about this and I told him to take her to our veterinarian and see if he could help. Dr. Marrinson spayed Karma for 69.99 because of a deal Seminole county had with local vets. Karma was found to have been shot! She had two pellets in her little body. One was in her left paw which broke her toe and the other was under the same leg in her armpit. When I picked her up from the vet I had every thought of letting her loose to the only life she'd ever known...........the streets. She'd already had two litters...........I couldn't do it. How could I let this sweet cat go back to an environment that hurt her? She's been with us almost a month now and I swear she's the kindest, sweetest being ever. There were potty issues at first but they were my fault. She's a clean girl now and soooooo sweet. OMG........how could anyone shoot a cat?
I named her Karma because I believe in it and than whoever hurt her will one day pay for their cruelty towards such a defenseless and wonderful animal. Bio: Karma's been with us in our home for just over a year now and she's beyond one doubt the sweetest cat I've ever had the priviledge of knowing. She's 'a kind soul.
