Arrival Story:
My mommy found me on the side of the road when she was out for her walk. I sounded like a little lost bird. I was all ears and mouth, with tree sap and fleas all over me. I cried all that first night. She took me to the vet to get me checked out and I bit her on the finger.

Bio:
When I first came to live with my mommy, I had a big brother named Weaselballs. He's gone now. :( Then I lived alone with my mommy, and for a brief time my grandma and grandpa took care of me. That's when I had the accident and lost the tip of my tail. Eventually I moved in with a silly boy named Kid and his daddy, and then my mommy and daddy adopted two annoying kittens. In June 2004 I ran away from home for 4 days. I came back, but now I'm not allowed outside anymore, and neither is anyone else! Ha Ha!

Forums Motto:
I vant to be alone!

Feelin' Good

Well, I've been feeling better lately - not cooperating as nice with my fluid therapies because I just want to go! Mommy and Daddy have been helping me feel better - I get all kinds of things mixed into my special food. Mommy took me to the vet again a couple weeks ago and they took my blood pressure (it felt funny to have my tail squeezed!) and more blood samples. I have anemia but the vet said I don't need shots (yet). I'm still getting my fluids twice a week. Mommy's getting better at sticking me but it still hurts, and I don't like to sit still for that long.

But I do feel better and I gained a pound a half at my last visit so that was good! Hopefully this will all work and I'll get to enjoy lots more time with Mommy, Daddy, the Toddler and the new baby who's on the way!

I don't feel well now. My mommy took me to the vet yesterday. I have CRF - kidney failure. My mommy cried a lot. I don't know about that, I'm just tired. My mommy bought me special food and gave me a pill today, and at the vet they put a needle in my back and made a water lump. I didn't like it at all! Mommy says we're going to do that twice a week at home. She cries sometimes when she's petting me. I wish she'd just let me sleep.

SCARY!

Today was so nice, that mommy thought she'd take us outside. So I got leashed up and Bell got leashed up and out I went. Bell wouldn't go out, but Bosco wanted to, so mommy was going to switch their leashes. She attached mine to a planter and thought I'd just sit. Well, that wasn't my plan. But as soon as I moved, the planter came after me! It chased me all around the patio and up the stone wall and under the chair!! It caught me and wouldn't let me go after I went through the chair legs! I was so scared - I grabbed onto the plastic chair and wouldn't let go. Mommy got me free and carried me inside. I was embarrassed because I made a little stinky, but I was scared! Mommy knows better than to use that planter as a leash anchor again.
