XXX Oh! Lympics?July 27th 2012 8:46 am[ View A Comments (9) ]
So my friend Toby http://www.catster.com/cats/1185981/ who lives in England has told me all about the Oh!Lympics. They are in his county and all the humans are so excited about it.
Enjoy them...and make a report, cause meowmy has to work...and we don't have a working recording device anymore...sigh...we like watching the sports better than the 'shows' though so its not really too bad that we will miss it. We will be sure to see highlights later if we wish! XXX - MOL!! Have fun watching the games, Timo!! Neat that you have a furfriend in England where they are happening. Is Toby competing in anything? We don't have a tv to watch but I will be hoping he wins the Gold! Hi Meezers and Zoey, I'll let you know how it is. My friend Toby MIGHT be competing in the high jump or long jump. His Mom says he's got springs in his legs and likes to jump around a lot. I'll need to watch for Toby. Purrs. Let the games begin. Saw the Opening Ceremonies and LOVED it! Can't wait for the gymnastics...Happy XXX.. Hugs Henry Henry, we loved it too. Who knew that the Queen can fly? We love Gymnastics too. Rooting for Gabby Douglas, who lives and trains in Des Moines, IA. We live close to Des Moines. Yay, go Flying Squirrel. *giggles* - the games have a pawtastic timing! did you know that even animals take part??? human told me. can't wait to see the horses. i will have to see them!!! [just sad that london has the same weather that we have - they should have applied for winter games :( ] Dear Ishtar, please send rain. I'll exchange it for as much sunshine as you need. We have plenty. Will be 38-40 all week. I'm looking forward to see the horses compete too. Mietzi thinks mouse hunting should be an Oh!Lymic event. It takes so much skill & good paw/eye coordination. :)) i bet that mietzi is right... but human wouldn't join me watching that event :(( i'd send you months of rain if i could! would you send me some degrees in return??? not even the harvest benefits. while parts of the american plants fade in the drought - parts of ours drown and mould :( Mietzi was training for the mouse hunting event on Saturday. She had one but then it escaped and ran into a hole under our patio :(( I can send you 10 degrees. It'll be 33 today and 35 tomorrow. Saturday was 20. Aaaah, so nice. We had all forgotten how nice 20 degrees feels. Purrs from the desert in Iowa |
