Mom came home, she had been gone all day, and she smelled like sheep and horse!! With a hint of cow and pig I think. Huh? What's going on here? Mom looked really beat when she came home. She took a shower and plopped down on the couch saying something about her feet hurting.
Was it a Gala? County Fair? State Fair? YES Beepers. It's the Iowa State Fair. For your correct answer you win....your very own Butter Cow. Blizzard, you were almost right. Therefore your prize is the Fried Butter on a stick (hope you have a butter lover in your family). Sam, for answering first you win a Pork Chop on a stick. I don't know if they have County Fairs/State Fairs in New Zealand. Mom thinks they are lots of fun. Thanks for playing everypurr. Our county fair ends today. Just 4h stuff, not much else, no rides, games etc. want that we go to Frederick fair next month We don't have any states but we do have fairs or we sometimes call them a Gala's thank you for the yummy pork chop purrs Sam is that form your state fair? Did you win it in one of those raffles. They are aways fun :) Blizz, our State Fair is really, really big. You name it, we probably have it or doing it. All kinds of contests, judging of livestock and food entries, biggest pumpkin, rides, vendors, and so on. Sam - Oh, so you had the right answer. A fair is called gala in NZ. Learned something. At our fair they sell all kinds of food on a stick, so that you can eat and walk at the same time. Pork chop on a stick is everybody's favorite. The new item this year is fried butter on a stick. The butter gets rolled in doe and melts into the doe, people say it tasts like a cinnamon roll. Mom didn't try that. Way too fattening. For 100 years artists have sculptured a lifesize cow made out of butter for people to admire. That's why the butter cow is the symbol of our state fair. I forgot, we also have big, live music acts: Janet Jackson, Reba McEntyre, Casting Crowns, Sugarland (got cancelled), others I can't remember. To see those you have to pay extra. dough - that's how you write that. I'm not the best speller. I would not win the State Fair spelling bee, MOL sounds like our state fair. last year, didn't want to with 20 miles saturday...justin beiber was performimg! OMC!! ( daddy says not without earplugs and an armed escort) OMC Justin Bieber. Yes that calls for earplugs. |
