I posted my opinion about the new feature with the diary comments in the blog. You go to the community homepage and in the lower right corner click on "A couple changes and fixes of note". I don't know if you can even see my post there because it says: awaiting moderation. So I'm just wondering. Is that comment field in the blog not for voicing our opinions? The blog text says "Let us know what you think". Well, I did that. Are negative opinions not allowed? Here is what I posted. It's not the most courteous post ever, I wrote too fast to be super courteous. But it's my opinion and I don't think it's offensive.

I'm really not sure what's going on, we posted our comment in the blog an hour or so ago and it appeared, then it disappeared. I'm sure it wasn't offensive so I can only assume a flea got it. I have also voiced my feelings in song in my diary (where the missing comment may also reappear, who knows? Maybe the whole site needs a dose of flea treatment, MOL)

Timo, we posted a comment on that blog yesterday and we can still see it but it says "waiting for moderation." A lot of other kitties say they posted on the blog, too, but we can't see anyfurs' comments.

Bottom line is NO CAT seems to like it, it's really one of the worst features we have ever seen. Then there is the chaos of the wrong diary entry showing up on another cat's page. Nobody can make heads or tails of what is going on ~ it's a mess!

This is a mess for sure. Hope the tech cats switch it back to the way it was real soon. This is no fun.

You know that there is a button and you can delete comments that other cats make on your diary. Well, I can't delete Gordy's. There is no button. Gordy, I don't really want to delete your comment. Please don't be offended. I like your comment. I just wanted to point out that there seems to be stuff that doesn't work right now. Sometimes my community button doesn't show up and I have to take a detour thru the Catster homepage to get it back.

Orkney, Catster does seem to need a fleabath.

MoL No I understand what you are saying. I know I think that if a cat gets to your diary through another cats updates you are not able to delete the comment.
