My Outside Walk.November 8th 2009 10:37 am[ Leave A Comment | 5 people already have ] This morning Mam 'n Da were taking advantage of one of the last nice days of the year 'n were outside doing yard work. They left me in the house where I laid in the sunshine coming through the big window. I kept calling to them to let them know I was in the house all alone, but they just kept working 'n working. After a while, Mam came in, put my leash on me 'n outside we went. I climbed on the wall around the porch and warmed my tummy on the cement. Ate some grass 'n wandered around a little. Said "'hey" to Da, who was still cleaning up. Walked around to the back of the house, checked out the contents of the shed 'n decided I wanted to go in the house through the slider. But I couldn't because it was locked from the inside. I sat there, pouting but it did no good. Finally Mam got tired of my obstinance 'n picked me up. She was carrying me around to where Da was, 'n when I saw him, I decided I would rather walk than be carried. But when I started walking, I went right past him, onto the porch straight up to the door. I was finished with my trip outside.

I have been on the leash for two years, but I don't really walk on it very well. Mam says it is a painfully slow activity because I do what I want to do 'n not what she wants do. mol! We enjoy our walks on our leashes, too. I especially like to eat the grass and chase bugs. But nothing beats the comfort of our warm house! Mummy tried putting a leash on Tara once. Not an experiment she's ever repeated, and certainly not with me! You sound like you're pretty relaxed about it. we all walk quite well on the leashes..Loki and RC can even go to town and to Petsmart.. Glad you enjoyed your day out..Did you take dirt bath?
