I'm a daily diary pick today. Yay! Thank you dear Diary Lady.
Mom finally has a few days off she says. This morning she left for work. I was like: Mom, what are you doing? You're on vacation!
Mom said she just needed to take care of two things in the office. It won't take long. She'll be right back. Her boss is gonna have surgery on Purrsday, which is tomorrow, so she just had to do these two things for her. After the office Mom did not come straight home. Nope. She stopped at Petco which is good because she did like a buffet thing. She bought a few cans of this and a few cans of that. We're looking forward to trying them all. After Petco Mom did not come straight home. Nope.
Next stop was Olive Garden because Mom had gotten hungry from all the working and shopping for cat food. Olive Garden is a Restaurant. I don't know if you have one where you are. I have never been there but I hear they have pawsome meals with shrimp and seafood. I would have so liked to go to lunch with Mom to Olive Garden.
After Olive Garden Mom came straight home. Yay! So I told her I'm DDP and I want to go outside to celebrate. Nope, said Mom. It's 90 and that is not as hot as in Arizona but it's still way too hot. Yesterday and the day before was 99, heat index 115, so we're making progress.
Oh by the way, Arizona: We are just so happy that Newman, Samoa and family have made it OK to Arizona. Looks like they're done unpacking because Newman and Gleek had time to write in their diaries.
I'll ask if I can go outside tonight when it's cooler.

CONCATS on being DDP!!! what did ur mom bring fur u from Petco??? Tao, we got different kinds of canned food. And we got this new dry food. Some of my U.S. friends might know this one: Castor & Pollux Natural Ultramix Indoor adult cat food. Mmmmh, it's yummy. On the back there is a little picture of a smiling cat and it says: we make cats happy. Yes, I totally agree. Congratulations on your DDP! Enjoy your food - that sounds delicious! Hope you had an awesome day. haah-haah!! the only food available in our country is human foods and WHISKAS!! :( Monida, Samsara and Moppie, thank you for the congratulations. I had a nice day. It finally cooled down to 73 (22 celsius) and I was just outside for half an hour. Oooh it felt so good.
Tao, human food is good. We cats eat mostly meat and fish. Just make sure there are no spices on it. Salt and pepper and stuff is not good for us. And we like Whiskas too.
