I do. Really. Like, Mom couldn't find her Netflix envelopes. She had put them somewhere but forgotten where. How is that my fault? Well, I love to chew on paper and I had torn off the corner of another Netflix envelope and it was the corner with the free postage thingy. So ever since then Mom hides those envelopes from me. I say it's not my fault that Mom can't remember where she put them. Look harder, Mom. They gotta be around here somewhere.
Another thing I got blamed for was, when Mom was on vacation last Septempurr somecat had torn off the tag on the cord that closes our blinds in the living room. Naturally I got blamed because I'm Mom's wild one. A few days ago the truth came out: Timo had puked up his breakfast (ewww) and Mom offered him a different kind of Blue Buffalo. But he wouldn't eat it. Mom tried for an hour putting that food in front of him. She had nothing but Blue Buffaloes in the house. Timo wouldn't eat it. But he was meowing because he was so hungry. And finally, you know what he did? He started chewing on the tag on the cord that's on the bedroom blinds. AHA, I said. See Mom? He's the one that tore off the other tag too.
But Timo is her good boy. He can't do anything wrong. Such a nice cat. If you listen to Mom he's the bestest cat who ever lived. I think he's just good at not getting caught.
A few days ago Mom heard a crash and bang coming from the bookshelf. So she yelled: MIETZI!! Well, she didn't really yell. It just sounded that way to me. There you go. Blaming me again Mom. After further inspection it turned out that Timo had tried to jump on the bookshelf and had knocked a few books off in the process. He almost never jumps up there but I always do and there is an opening in between the books that I fit in. Timo tried to jump in there but fat Timo doesn't fit. So down came the books.
Do you get blamed for stuff that you didn't do? How do you deal with that? Do you tattle on your siblings? Do you point the paw at the real offender?
your good cat Mietzi

It's definitely not your fault your mom can't remember where she put those envelopes! Sounds just like my mom, hiding stuff from us, then can't remember where she hid it!
We both get asked, "Did you do that?" if Mom doesn't see who did it. I look real sweet and innocent, but I don't answer. MOL! Since Beepers is bigger and older and he's my daddy besides, I think he should take the blame.
Hmmm... I made a comment and it says "Your comment has been posted," but I don't see it. Who do I blame for that??
NOW I see it! *giggles* Sorry about all the extra comments, Mietzi!
Oh you Trout Towne Tabbies. You are just taking sides with the Timo boy because you are boys too. You Dude Kitteh and Boomer and Tuna and Sauce. Well, except Dai$y. Dai$y is a lady. Help, Dai$y dear. I need your opinion, girl friend. The boys are ganging up on me.
Then again a Rent-A-Dog might be just what I need. A bulldog is too big. I want a minipoodle or minischnauzer. Something mini.
Ashlynne, don't worry about it. You can talk in my diary as much as you want to. After all, that's what girl friends are for. I think we can blame the Catster fleas for the comment not showing up or maybe we can find a dog to blame.
Looking sweet and innocent is a good tip. I'll have to practice that. Most of the time I look like I got some mischief in mind, MOL.
I'm always getting blamed for stuff that Samoa does!
Mietzi, You can borrow Teaka! She is a little squirt of a dog. A yapper. I blame everything on her, because mom always yells at me! Its not fair! You don't even have to borrow the dog, you can have her. Let me know, we can negotiate!
Hunter, thank you so much for offering me your slightly used, as good as new, yappy Teaka dog, to keep for myself furever, and to blame everything on, no strings attached. Also a string attached to her could be good to keep her under control. Can you attach a string to her before I take her? And what does she eat? Would she eat my left-over cat food?
IF I'm supposed to take the dog off your paws then you'll have to sweeten the deal a bit. How about you get me TWO pawsome toys from Simone and River? I think you're good friends with them and might have connections to get me the toys? I just can't wait until their shop opens. Waiting to hear from you.
Hunter, I am sorry. Our deal is off. I can't take your dog after all. I would really like to but my brofur balked. He is very afraid of dogs and he says if I'm getting a dog then he'll leave. I tried to tell him that Teaka is very small, more like a big hamster or guinea pig but he wouldn't go for it. I really need my brofur around. He's the only feline here and I need somefur to talk to. I would look funny if I'd talk to myself. So sorry. You have to keep the dog.
