Arrival Story:
We had been feeding 3 feral cats for several months. They ran whenever they saw us. My husband asked what I wanted for my birthday and I said "a kitten". I was only kidding because we rescued some cats last year and still have them which makes a total of 7 cats inside. Well my birthday was the 22nd of December and on the 23rd when I put food out for the three, the one I named Clyde came up to me and rubbed against my legs and purred. I realized this was not a feral cat, but probably a cat someone left behind due to the economy. Being that it was 20 degree out at night, we brought her in and put her upstairs in a bedroom. I realized too that Clyde was a Clydette!

Bio:
We decided to take Clydette to our vet. I took her on Christmas Eve and she was pronounced healthy and PREGNANT. The vet gave me the option to spay her immediately, but I just could not do that. I bought her home and we decided to keep her. We introduced her to the main gilmore gang the next day and it's like she's always been here, except for Leo of course and he doesn't like anyone! We renamed her Asia because we lost our China doll this year and felt like she had led her to us. She knew we wouldn't turn her away just like we didn't turn China doll and her sibs away. Thank you China doll for sending her to me!
