We didn't choose Zed, he chose us, or more precisely, he chose my boyfriend. Zed came right up to him, stuck his paw through the wires of the shelter cage, and beeped his nose. I came around about a few years later, and we've been a happy family ever since. Zed now lives a fine life, complete with daily head rubs, playtime, and the occasional treat. Purrrrr
