I have a stumpy tail. :(

A couple of weeks ago Mommy and Daddy got up early to get ready for work. I'm extra lovey in the mornings, because I kind of hope I can convince Mommy and Daddy to stay home with ME instead, although it never works. :( Mommy goes into the bathroom, not realizing that my TAIL was caught in behind the door! I hissed and growled and she opened the door and realized that about 1/4 of my tail was still in the door as I was running down the stairs freaking out! The tip of my tail was a bloody mess. :( Mommy got me into the vet right away and they told her that the part of my tail that was "degloved" had to be amputated!

I had to stay at the vet and have surgery and boy was I sore for a couple of days. Mommy felt SO bad, but it was an accident, so I forgive her. I have a shorter tail now, but otherwise I'm ok and Mommy has promised me that she'll be more careful when shutting doors!

I'm in love!

I have a girlfriend! Her name is Teyah, and she was a foster cat that Mommy took in for the local shelter. Well Mommy and Daddy have decided that she is here to stay and I am SO happy! Teyah is so gorgeous...and I just can't leave her alone. I'm infatuated. I follow her around EVERYWHERE and just can't seem to get enough of her. I know she has been through a lot, a teenaged pregnancy, and that she was a street cat, but I mean, we all make mistakes, right? We all deserve a second chance. I am going to love Teyah forever!

We're on the move!

I keep hearing Mommy and Daddy talk about the fact that in 8 more sleeps, we'll be moving to a new, bigger home! :) This is very, very exciting as we will all have lots more space to explore. Mommy also says that there are stairs there, and that she and Daddy better get extra life insure as they are going to trip over us and break their necks when we try to race them down the stairs...lol. Nova and I will have so much fun chasing each other up and down STAIRS!

I am now a man!

Well fellow kitties, it's done. I am now a man. I took the big trip to the "Vet" yesterday and I was "neutered". You know it wasn't so bad... I was such a good boy and didn't make a sound the entire trip! I was a little scared, being in a strange place and all, but they took good care of me. When Mommy and Daddy picked me up, I was purring and happy to be going home. Nova was SO excited to see me when I got back and he came right over and started grooming me! I was a little sore, but I bounced back in no time and spent all evening playing with the kitties and getting into trouble like I normally do. I understand that I was neutered so that I can never make kittens, and I am just fine with that, I don't ever want to have kittens anyway. I'm too independant for that! Mommy wants me to tell of the other Catster kitties how very important it is to have us kitties spayed and neutered. We are all lucky, because we have loving forever homes, but so many other kitties out there aren't so lucky. Do the responsible thing! :)

The dreaded "N" word...

Earlier today I heard Mommy on the phone talking with someone called a "Vet". She said I was old enough now to be "neutered" and wanted to make an appointment for the end of the month. I had no idea what she was talking about, so I went to my buddy Nova and asked him to explain. He tells me all about this whole neutering thing and I'm not impressed one little bit! Goodness, how am I going to get out of this one?!?

Fitting right in!

Well I am fitting right in here at my new home! I love all of the other kitties and my humans are really great. There are so many new friends to play with and we all get along great now, even if a few of them weren't impressed when I first got here. The other kitties are teaching me great things. The other night we got into the bathroom and shredded a BUNCH of toilet paper! We got into the garbage can and swatted Q-Tips everywhere and we even dumped a bunch of soap all over the floor. This place is GREAT!

A new home AND new friends!

Hello everyone! My name is Azizi, but you can call me Zi. :) I just recently came to my new home and boy am I loving it! There is lots of stuff for me to get into and lots of other kitties to play with. Nova has become my best buddy. We play a lot and he grooms me just like my kitty Mommy did. Elliott is also pretty cool. He tries to act all tough but I get him to let his guard down and play. Oh guess what I had for the first time last night?!? TREATS! Those things are the best yummies EVER!
