indoors Arrival Story: Daddy mentioned to Mommy one day that he wanted a kitten. Mommy, being the crazy cat lady that she is, readily agreed! Mommy and Daddy picked me up from a house full of rednecks who refuse to get their pets spayed and neutered. In Mommy's opinion I was far too young to be away from my kitty Mommy, but she knew I'd be coming into a good home. Bio: My name is an Egyptian name meaning "Precious One" and that is exactly what I am! Mommy says I am the cutest thing EVER but Daddy argues that HE is the cutest thing ever, so I'm a little confused... I am a little spit fire, full of curiosity and energy. I love to play and if there's trouble to get into, I'll find it. I get into EVERYTHING I can possibly get into. Nova is my bestest friend ever! He and I are buddies and we chase each other all over the place, knock things over, make the other kitties angry and just cause general chaos. :) I like to cuddle, but only on MY terms, as I'm a pretty independant kitty, but all in all I'm really a sweetheart. A couple of weeks ago Mommy and Daddy got up early to get ready for work. I'm extra lovey in the mornings, because I kind of hope I can convince Mommy and Daddy to stay home with ME instead, although it never works. :( Mommy goes into the bathroom, not realizing that my TAIL was caught in behind the door! I hissed and growled and she opened the door and realized that about 1/4 of my tail was still in the door as I was running down the stairs freaking out! The tip of my tail was a bloody mess. :( Mommy got me into the vet right away and they told her that the part of my tail that was "degloved" had to be amputated!
I had to stay at the vet and have surgery and boy was I sore for a couple of days. Mommy felt SO bad, but it was an accident, so I forgive her. I have a shorter tail now, but otherwise I'm ok and Mommy has promised me that she'll be more careful when shutting doors!
I have a girlfriend! Her name is Teyah, and she was a foster cat that Mommy took in for the local shelter. Well Mommy and Daddy have decided that she is here to stay and I am SO happy! Teyah is so gorgeous...and I just can't leave her alone. I'm infatuated. I follow her around EVERYWHERE and just can't seem to get enough of her. I know she has been through a lot, a teenaged pregnancy, and that she was a street cat, but I mean, we all make mistakes, right? We all deserve a second chance. I am going to love Teyah forever!
I keep hearing Mommy and Daddy talk about the fact that in 8 more sleeps, we'll be moving to a new, bigger home! :) This is very, very exciting as we will all have lots more space to explore. Mommy also says that there are stairs there, and that she and Daddy better get extra life insure as they are going to trip over us and break their necks when we try to race them down the stairs...lol. Nova and I will have so much fun chasing each other up and down STAIRS!
