Food...food...and more food

He's way laid back, he really doesn't have any, but when Regis shadows him, he bats him on the head and gives him a growl.

Favorite Toy:

Favorite Nap Spot:
We bought beds, baskets and the like, he loves a small cardboard box that he manages to fit in.

Favorite Food:
Anything that's infront of him

We found out, if we leave the cat food in the bottom cabinet, he can open the door and pull 5 lbs. of food out to the middle of the floor to dine = (

Arrival Story:
We originally had one cat, Augie, "August Moon" who we thought might be lonely as an 'only' cat. So we decided to adopt from the local animal shelter to save a life and there was Quincy. He was so independent, he didn't care who was handling him or playing with him, he was just looking for his next meal. We took him home and he became an instant member of the family; although you could tell he was truly wild and tried to keep his feral side in check. He did not take long to establish he was an 'alpha' cat, which did not bode well with Augie. She would hiss, at me, her disapproval of my bringing home a big brother for her. Our beautiful black baby Augie passed away a couple of years after we adopted Quin. My husband and I were not the only ones who missed Augie terribly, Quincy truly missed her when she did not return home that awful day. He has learned to love us, which did not come easy for him, as he was a very feral tomcat from the streets. I laugh when people come to our home, we have two other cats, Molly & Regis...they run if they hear a doorbell on tv = ( but not Quin. Nope, he trots right up to the door and greets everyone that enters our home. People always equate him to the personality of a dog, hmmm, but it's our little secret Quin, he's just hoping someone will assist him in obtaining his food from the kitchen cabinet and feed him.

Quincy, the best cat who ever lived...died on June 24, 2013...he had lung cancer...and for the first time in our lives we had to euthanize one of our truly beloved animals. While Quincy lived to a wonderfully respectable age, we are devastated...we miss you Quin, Molly & Regis are lost without you...we will see you again, but for now play with Augie and find Mama, she loved you too. xoxoxo
