Arrival Story: We have had Nermal (from Garfied comic strip)since she was 6 weeks old. My son Michael rescued her. She was his cat for many years and lived in his room. When Michael got married, she remained with us(about 4 years ago).

Bio: Nermal was a great hunter in her hayday. She would sleep in the oddest spots, on top of the Parakeet cage, in the potted plant on the porch, on the second to last rung of our ladder.
The funniest thing that ever happened with her is her involves her birding activities. She was such a great hunter (I don't approve!) that I had to place 2 bells on her collar. She would lie in wait inside the dog house . When she heard a bird land, she would jump out and try to snag it. One day while she was waiting, a rather large goose landed on the roof. She jumped out to catch him and got the SURPRISE of her life. I wish I could have captured that one on camera!
She lives with 2 very large dogs and 7 other cats. She believes that she is the only cat and only bothers with humans.
Once, about 10 years ago, she disappeared for several days. I was worried sick! When she came home , she could barely walk and her head was tilted to one side. I immediately brought her to the Vet. He informed me that she had "Crazy Cat" syndrome. She had probably waalked through some neighbors lawn (with chemicals) and was poisoned. The vet said her head might always be tilted but she had a full recovery. Even tho she is a senior , her hearing and eyesight are perfect. She has slimmed down quite a bit. She is a wonderful and most perfect cat. I say every cay has ONE major flaw:Nermal has none.
