I had been wanting a kitten for a long time - so I posted an ad online looking for a calico kitten, and a lady contacted me. She lived out of town, and actually her neighbor drove several hours in a blizzard to bring Twila to me. We fell in love with her immediately!
Bio:
She was born unknown to the orginal owner in a barn - the mother cat rejected the kittens (3) and they were bottle fed until the momma cat took over. The other 2 of the litter ended up not making it, and Twila actually got caught in the snow one day and was found unmoving - they brought her inside and rubbed her by the fire - and she was alive! She is a tough little kitty!
