My Birthday and church blessing

I had my 3rd birthday on the weekend and also went to church for the annual Blessing of the Animals ... It was a great day and I was blessed by a lovely man who when he was younger also had a white deaf cat . She was so like me in things that she did that now I dont feel so different to others .
At least I dont lie on the road on the pedestrian crossing and stop the bus every day !!She did that and that was bad !! There was lots of different animals there including a minature horse and some small donkey's ... of course there were heaps of dogs and quite a few cats .
Now as for my birthday ....I am 3 now !!... it was another wonderful day and I was given lots of goodies and treats .. Cuddles came too and the messages and rosettes on Catster were so neat to get .... Whata lucky girl I was ..
Thank you every one and I love Catster too !!

Big Earth Quake in NZ!!

I am so happy again now .... my mummy is home again and she here to stay for now ... Now I will tell why my mummy had to leave us at home with daddy while she went away .
As you have probably all heard there was a big earthquake in Christchurch South Island NZ a month ago and mummy had to go there to work . She was safe and not hurt so after she had been and done that she was had to go down to a conference so away she went again ....
This time although she was away for only 5 days so that was not going to be too bad I thought but I was missing her real bad by then so when she came home this time I was beside myself ... I cried and cried to tell her how much I missed her and loved her ...never leaving her side ..it was if I as tied to her she said. Daddy was home with us but a girl does need her mum at times and this was one of them . She had a few bruises this time that she got when she was awoken in her bed on her last night there ... They had another large one and she was tossed around in her bed unable to get out . At first she thought it was one of us cats jumping on her bed but then she woke realised what was happening.She said the shaking and noise was horrid .. Where they were staying was on the 4th floor so mummy said well if the hotel is going to fall down then so was she as she was not getting out of bed till it was over !!
We have told her no more going there till this is over ... we missed her and are so happy to have her home again safe ... The people down there were so lucky that the big one struck when it did .... early hours of the morning (4am) as if it had been in the afternoon there would have been many many deaths as it was there was no one killed but there are still lots and lots of animals to still be found or owners found so they can go home again ... so so sad... we are so lucky ...
And they are still having after shocks .They have now had more than 1500 .. we are praying they stop soon

Bath playtime today

Of all the things I love having play time in the bath.... with water in it of course ....that would be at the top of my list !! Mummy ran some water for me today to play in and I jumped in before she had even turned the taps off!! Well mummy watched me closely to make sure I didnt run under the hot tap and then the fun started .
Those of you who play with the water running from the tap will know what I mean . Then mummy put some toys in the bath for me to play with ... who ever said cats dont like the water got that wrong . I LOVE WATER.... any way I played and played and even fetched my spoon and took it to mummy so she could throw it back into the bath for me ... I dive under the water and pick it up in my mouth and then take it back to mummy so we can do this over and over again ... Mummy tires of that game before me !! When I have had enough I go to bed and have a sleep ready to play later ...

I have been a bad bad girl ... sorry Lesson learnt

I saw the chance and before daddy knew I shot out the door .... poor daddy he was so upset and he then had to tell mummy ... he was not happy even though it was an accident ... one made by me .... But he will never open the door again and not check where we are ... He thought that as I was far enough away he could just throw some bread out for the birds ... and then I sprung ... out the door ...
Well let me say this outside is not where I wanted to be right then ... I stopped and was scared but then safe strong hands picked me up and took me back inside ... thank you daddy ... Tyson on the other hand didnt need to smack me let alone so hard !! Right across my head ... I mean he has escaped outside several times ... but then he is bigger, older and not deaf ... but I am not going to do that again .. So lesson learnt ... Please dont do what I did ... it is not a good place for kitties to be ..let alone deaf ones like me ..

Simba's new box

As you all know my bestest friend has been very very sick and although I have sat by him and washed him it was really mummy and the vet that made him better again . I do so love him and missed him so much when he was sick so now he is better but still not back to himself properly when Mummy bought this litle box home today I thought that with a little help from me it would be perfect for Simba to lie in ... so I set to and made it so he could lie in it and rest .... it was a slow job but in the end I made it just right .... he was so happy when I took him and showed him ... he climbed in and rested so well he went to sleep in it !! Job well done even if I say so myself .... Faithe

PS Look at the photos on my page and you can see the box being fixed up and then Simba in it ... Mummy had to clean up though ..

My name has been changed and is now .....

Poor me I have a home and had a name but that (my name ) has been changed ... I am now called Faithe as mummy siad I am that and that is what we all need ... love hope and Faithe!!

At home ...... the first night

Ohhh I am so young and dont know how to say what has happened today ... I will try hard but forgive me if I make a mistake .
I dont have a name yet but this lady came to see me at the S.P.C.A .today and all the people seemed to know her ... she came straight to me and was allowed to pick me up and talk to me ... she was so nice and I purred so much .. she was kind but then she put me back in the cage and went away .. I was sad but then she came back and had a piece of paper in her hand and she took me out of the cage and kissed me and said we are going home baby ... and that was what we did . Well I now have a home , a daddy and mummy and 2 big black kitties , 1 siamese , and 1 smaller kitty who is fluffy .. I dont know their names yet but they have been looking at me in my safe little house . Mummy is thinking about what to call me but as yet I still dont have a name !!
Tomorrow maybe ..
Did I mention that the vets think I may be deaf and my new mummy doesnt care .. she loves me any way !!
