Arrival Story:
I went to the charlotte humane society here in North Carolina looking for a cat or kitten to join our family. They had lots of kittens they were very cute but, as I was passing by the cages full of cats and kittens playing and mewoing. I noticed one cage way in the back of the room with one single cat curled up in it. I asked the woman working their about the cat (that we now call blizzard). She said he is a very old cat and that they keep him in the back due to his age. She noted that he has been with them for a long time. That he does not like to be picked up and pretty much just stays in his cage even when the door is open. Then she went on to show as she put it " More suitable cats". But, I couldn't get my mind off him just laying there in a cage knowing that people just pass him by due to his age ( he was 14 then). I told the woman that I would like to bring home the lonely old white cat. She asked " wouldn't you rather have a young kitten or young cat ?". I told her no that I had made up my mind. With that said I filled out all the paper work, was told all about his health problems and brought him home.

Blizzard has been gone now for awhile but yet I find myself here at his page. He had so many furfriends hered he is no longer in pain but I am also sad.
I have opened my doors and heart to two in cats. I will love and care for them just like I did for you Blizzard. My heart will never be full again you will always have that part.
Hope you are waiting for me on the oerside my Bliz Bliz

Sorry it took so long

Hello all sorry it has taken me so long to come here and write but my heart breaks when I see my sweet blizzard's page. He is on the otherside now and is in no more pain.
I got him when he was old and I feel I gave him a good life with the years he had left though I wish we had longer. I am glad he feels no pain.

I am Blizzards mom and I am writing this for him. His age is catching up to him and soon he will be crossing rainbow bridge. He won't eat or drink anymore but doesn't seem to be in any pain. I will keep his site posted with updates.
