indoors Arrival Story: Solomon is an answer to prayer. After I lost Buster several months earlier, I longed for a cat that wanted to be around me all the time, cuddled, held, and loved. I came close to adopting but every time I considered doing so, the Lord told me not to adopt a cat, that He would put one in my path. It was a long and hard wait. In November 2008 a stray orange cat came looking for food at his former foster mom's home and she took him in and cared for him. She and I both prayed about him and the Lord revealed that this was the cat He wanted me to have, and that his name was going to be Solomon. After a few weeks, in mid December 2008 Solomon was ready to be adopted. He was brought to my home to live with me and my 2 other cats. He has truly been an answer to prayer and is a great cat, always wanting to be near me, giving kisses, nudges & headbonks, and even sleeping next to me on my pillow.

Solomon was probably someone's house cat at some time, since he's not afraid of people and craves attention. Bio: Solomon is a former semi-feral cat and is FIV positive. In spite of this, he's a very sweet, affectionate kitty who can't get enough loving and gives headbonks and nudges freely. He also gives kisses to his mama! But I didn't get it nearly as bad as mama did. She took the brunt of it fur me. What a good mama I have.
What happened isn't really Daniel's fault this time, it's mama's. I went in her bedroom and then Greta ran in too. I then decided to not stay so I tried to get out as fast as I could. (I'm afraid of Greta.) Well mama was about to shut the bedroom door to protect us from Daniel attacking in the night and I got caught in the door. I screamed and hissed, and Daniel thought I was hurting mama so he went and attacked me. Mama stepped in and let Daniel bite her at least twice to prevent me from getting bitten.
Then mama said she was taking me to the ER vet just to be safe. They checked me ofur and said they could only find 2 minor abrasions - one by my eye and one on my foot. Both are minor scratches. Mama meanwhile has 2 puncture wounds on her finger and is treating it with peroxide and antibiotics.
Today is/was my Gotcha Day! 3 years ago I came here to live and I have WUVed being here. Today mama stayed home cuz she was sick and I got to sleep next to her, and even sit by her. I just love sitting by her side.
