indoors Arrival Story: Solomon is an answer to prayer. After I lost Buster several months earlier, I longed for a cat that wanted to be around me all the time, cuddled, held, and loved. I came close to adopting but every time I considered doing so, the Lord told me not to adopt a cat, that He would put one in my path. It was a long and hard wait. In November 2008 a stray orange cat came looking for food at his former foster mom's home and she took him in and cared for him. She and I both prayed about him and the Lord revealed that this was the cat He wanted me to have, and that his name was going to be Solomon. After a few weeks, in mid December 2008 Solomon was ready to be adopted. He was brought to my home to live with me and my 2 other cats. He has truly been an answer to prayer and is a great cat, always wanting to be near me, giving kisses, nudges & headbonks, and even sleeping next to me on my pillow.

Solomon was probably someone's house cat at some time, since he's not afraid of people and craves attention. Bio: Solomon is a former semi-feral cat and is FIV positive. In spite of this, he's a very sweet, affectionate kitty who can't get enough loving and gives headbonks and nudges freely. He also gives kisses to his mama! I'm doing lots better these days. Shortly after my last entry I started to come out more. When mama got out the bowl with the warm water, antibiotic ointment, and towels I ran. But she got me and cared fur me. Once she put the ointment on my wounds it made them feel sooo much better. Now they are nearly healed up and my fur is growing there again.
Mama wanted to take today off to be with us but her boss said no. (She has a mean boss.) Oh well.
I've been hiding the last few days as a result of my injuries.
Mama wants to love on me but I always find a spot where she can't. Besides, she wants to poke at my wounds and I have to warn her (with a nip) not to do so, but she says the vet said you have to.
Well I got bit AGAIN by Daniel, this time. It's been a long time since he did that but efury year in the spring something makes him become kinda aggressive. He's been neutered, in fact he & I both are....so we don't know what gets into him. He is however the alpha male so maybe that's it.
Daniel gave me 2 bad puncture wounds and 2 small wounds nearby. So mama took me to the vet fur treatment. I needed an update on my shots, so I got that while I was there.
They gave me an antibiotic injection that lasts for 2 weeks, so I won't need to take any pills. YAY!
Right now I'm not feeling good due to my shots but mama says she's sure I will get better with time. The vet said to put a warm compress on my wounds twice daily. I told them all about Daniel and how he's so mean sometimes. They felt bad fur me. I purred and purred to show my appreciation. I usuually purr fur mama a lot but since I don't feel good now I've just been growling and hissing. Mama understands.
I need to go and sleep, I just want to feel better.
