Dad's A Genius

Yesterday, the dogs got big bones to chew on. And did they chew! And (most of the time) while they were chewing, Annie wasn't barking. That was WONDERFUL!! I heard Mom sayin' that maybe next year we'll have a cat room & the boys (me & the twins) could get presents, too. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I had some belly time with Dad & some peace & quiet for a little while. It was a special day.

I hid most of the morning. I'm not gonna tell where. The only time I came out was when Mom was in the waterfall. Annie was in front of the vent, so I laid on the mats. In front of the big waterbowl. The place where Mom & Dad step when they get out of the waterfall/waterbowl. I like making Mom dance around me. Then I disappeared again...

All In A Day's Work

I hung out for quite a while behind the bathroom door. That vent is nice & warm! Then Mom had to come out with those dogs. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind 'em THAT much, but Annie's still way too hyper. And Seven still gets carried away a bit, too. I got a couple of kisses from Seven. I shared the bathroom vent with Annie. We're both the least furry in the house, we need more warmth. Kinda like Dad. He's not as big as Mom & he's colder than Mom all the time. I came out for some breakfast. Unintentionally played tag with the girls. All I wanted was to lay behind the couch! I can't wait 'til Annie gets too big to fit behind the couch. It'll be a while after Dad leaves before the house is quiet again (Annie makes a horrid racket when she's put in her bed until she realizes there's no one to hear her.), and then I can meditate & nap until evening time when everyone gets active again. Maybe I'll manage to sneak into the "no-no" room tonight. Wait, maybe that's not such a good idea. Annie can still fit under the bed!
