TEAK, jr. purrporter

Hi, it's me again...TEAK, just up-dating on how I am doing in my new world. My Vet put me on a calming medication since April and finally, early this month, I have decided to venture out from Grammom's room. My brothers treat me so nice...well Toy is still a bit snippedy but he doesn't hiss any more. Luke the big black woofie is so loving with me and that big white woofie is in serious need of my medication!! Jeez, in my observation from under the couch, he is definitely in denial of growing up. My brother, Ty lets OBI roll him around the floor like another puppy...I am beginning to wonder whats in the water we are drinking!! I am excited that my 1st birthday is coming up very soon,(July 13th) I will be a ManCat!! Mommy is hiding presents from me, Toy grabbed one when Mom took it out of a big envelope that came in the mail. Mommy had a bit of tug o war with him but she won, then picked up the plastic shredded bag, threw it away then put it in another bag out of our reach. Toy said he was not respondsible for his actions, the smell from the bag was overpowering! See, I told you...that must be the stuff she puts in our water.......natural stuff for our teeth and gums, yeh right, who is she kidding....Teak, (under couchcover), jr. purrporter

My first Christmas!

WOW! I have a warm home, new brothers, woofies, a loving bean family.....what more could I want! Guess what, Santa Paws brought us a BIG new cat tree!!!!!! That's what the beans call it but it doesn't look anything like the trees that my mommy hid us under when we were outside. This tree is soft, warm and comfy...but I do miss my kitty mommy, brother and sisters. My life has changed so fast and luckily my new Mom understands that so I am in Grammom's room with Tang till I slowly get used to everything. I have played with all my new brothers except for Toy but he did see me and didn't even hiss.....I did! It makes me feel brave...don't know why...it just seems to work! Tang and I play together every night while Grammom is sleeping..tee hee. Sometime we get to loud and Mommy comes in to check on us.......Tang taught me how to give that innocent look of.."What...whats the matter...everything is cool here...no problems...we are fine!" (Big Grin)
Well,..... right after Christmas our new Mommy got sick and Dad took her to the hospital. She spent 5 days there and had 5 tests!!!! The doctors thought it was her heart but Mommy knew it wasn't! They made her get a heart catheter and she passed with flying colors, then a endoscope down the throat....still no answers.....the final test was another on her gall bladder. Finally they know, her gall bladder is only working 5% so it has to come out!!! Mommy feeling better, came home New Years Eve and has to meet with a surgeon which she is calling on Monday. She said she has had 4 other attacks but they were not as bad, this one lasted 12 hours and poor Mommy was very, very sick!!! All the other beans got so scared and we all missed her so much. At least when she has that stupid thing out she will only be gone over night. Guess Mommy & me have had a rough Holiday but we both have each other for comfort, purrrrrrrrrrr=^Y^=Teak
