Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: June 16th 2005
 Coloration: Black

Likes: Watching birds

Pet-Peeves: Chicken or fish cat food. Hates it.

Favorite Toy: One of those balls you wound up with a stick attached to it. It used to have feathers on the end but he played with it so much they broke off.

Favorite Nap Spot: On his kitty tower.

Favorite Food: Shredded beef in beef gravy sauce, although he can rarely have it. It upsets his stomach and makes him sick.

Skills: He's very smart. He always comes to me when I call his name, no matter where he is or if he's asleep. He'll do just about anything for attention, even walking on his back legs just to make his head reach my hand. We could probably teach him tricks.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: How I ended up with Favorite is a very interesting story. I was living with my Aunt who has a ton of cats. Four inside, and several outside she feeds. One night a bad storm came through, probably the worst I had seen in a long time. There was loud thunder, and the rain was pouring. While I was sitting in my room I heard a strange noise coming from outside. Some thing told me to go check. I grabbed a flash light and went outside to the front yard. The water was up past my ankles and continuing to pour down. I didn't see or hear anything. Still, I had this strong feeling there must be some thing out there so I checked the back yard. My Aunt has a privacy fence set up in her back yard. Instead of taking out the old metal fence she just put up a new privacy fence in front of it. Her neighbor did the same, so there's two privacy fences and a gap for the metal fence in-between. When I walked closer to the fence I saw a black mother cat in-between the fences desperately trying to save her kittens. I startled her and she ran away. The water was rising and I knew if I didn't get the kittens out they would drown. I ripped the fence out and thankfully saved all the kittens just in time. The next day I put the kittens in a box and sat them on the porch to see if the mother would take them back. She did, and later I found out she had saved one before I had found the others. So, what does this have to do with Favorite exactly? One of the kittens I had saved that night grew up and had kittens of her own. She had too many kittens, and started to look frail and unhealthy. I took three off of her and taught them to eat, my Aunt kept one and I kept two. Favorite, and my other kitty Butterbean :) I'd like to think they are here for a reason. I don't know how I possibly heard those newborn kittens crying during that storm, but if I hadn't found them my kitties wouldn't be here with me today.

Bio: I decided to name Favorite his name because out of the litter of six he was my favorite :) I knew there was something special about Favorite because while his brothers and sisters couldn't even walk yet, he was running, hopping, and eating nearly a whole can of cat food by himself! I'd never seen anything like it. He's a very intelligent cat. He understands better than any cat I've been around. Always comes when he's called, whether he's asleep or way off in another room. I never have a problem with him climbing all over furniture or kitchen counters. He loves attention, and will do just about anything for it. It's the only way I can clip his nails and he loathes it, haha. Strange thing about Favorite is you probably won't want to hold him in your lap for long. He literally will drool on you like a dog! If he doesn't drool on you then he's obsessed with licking your shirt or pants. I have no idea why he does this but he always has and I've never been able to break him from it. Imagine the confusion on company's faces when he's in their lap! Haha. Favorite loves to watch birds, he'll sit and watch them and kind of chirp at them. He also likes to go outside on our balcony and just lay in the sun or watch the stray cats. Favorite's traveled more of the world than some adult humans. Traveling across the U.S., living in Texas, Georgia and across the sea to Europe.
