Arrival Story: Yasha came from a shelter in Baltimore. We had just lost our beloved Smokey and wanted a cat who could rival him in size and personality. Yasha is BIG alright. He had been in the shelter the longest of all the cats there because he is black. Why don't people think that black is gorgeous?
Bio: Yasha is totally sweet. He loves to cuddle with people and is the biggest purr box, even at the vets, to the point where it's hard to listen to his heart (his purrs are so loud). But as far as rivaling Smokey in personality, well that didn't happen! Not that we should expect that. Yasha is a total sweatheart. He doesn't have Smokey's mischivious streak at all! But we love him all the same.
